Do you want to fit an 8" Thick piece of wood on your Onefinity with you moving your "Y" rails? These riser blocks are for you! Just put them under your x rail and you are good to go without messing up your spoil board!!!

I’ve been needing these. I have a water cooled spindle that is so tall that it shortens the z travel to the point that I can’t get a 3 1/2 inch board carved, this will really open things up.

Now you have me thinking of building a CNC table where the spoilboard can be raised and lowered 🤔

Tip: I made what i call skis and bolted the 1F to the ski. (y axis) then i made my table lock in the ski. I can use blocks under the ski to lift the 1F The Ski is saving me from moving my cnc and making new holes everytime when i move it. move it with the ski, clamp it in and off you go. Riser blocks go under the ski unclamp the ski place riser blocks in clamp down the ski. moving the 1F is not near as bad with the skis in place. My garage is cold and i hate running the Jtech in the basement. so i needed to be able to move around.

Is that a nominal 8 in block at 7.5 inch thickness or a true rough sawn 8 in. timber?

With the longest bit you can fit, in your opinion, what is the deepest pocket you could cut?
