Congratulations on getting married and your new album... I have been a fan for years and back when I was in middle school I heard of the white stripes which lead me to get more music of his. I saw raconteurs live in Boston 2019 and I was at the front of the stage. So close to Jack that I could have tied his shoes for him. I remember the solemn look of complete focus on his face and I was just delighted to be in his presence. His music helps me through the hard times and if he wasn't making music many people would be disappointed because he is one of the last good musicians out there. He has inspired me to play guitar and do music production which I have been doing in my home studio. I'm sure its tough being famous and having have people around you 24/7. I know I may not ever actually meet him which is fine because he has enough stuff to deal with and I have a huge amount of respect for that man. Thank you Jack for everything you do and sometime I hope to visit Third Man... Glad to see a good guy like yourself is still doing well... God Bless you Jack White

Jimi Hendrix set the standard for playing the national anthem with a guitar. Jack White's rendition is not as aggressive or feedback driven as was Jimi's version was back in the 60's but that's how Hendrix had to play it to get or attention. Jack's rendition knocked it out of the ballpark for these days and times ,where most people have forgotten to be humble and greatfull.
@nitemareman12 жыл бұрын
Jimi did not play the anthem to open a sporting event. He played it at a music festival during a time of political and social upheaval in America. It was a beautiful musical statement, and was actually technically powerful and proficient. White and Flea, who were paid to perform the song for a crowd of patriots at a sporting event, took a giant shit on the song and the moment. Hendrix, they ain't. This is seasick bullshit.
