I am dropping out of the "Ain't it awful club" as well as starting the nightly affirmation process. I tried doing something like them a long time ago but I like the steps involved. Changing that 59 year old thought process won't be easy! I had already stopped notifications on a group text because one person in particular would get the group going on how horrible different things were on a regular basis. Listening to your video put it into context of what it was doing to me.

What i have learned from this video 1. It wasn't that we are not good enough, is our thoughts that we are not good enough that is the problem 2. High self esteem is a functions of loveable, competent and significant 3. I need fall in love with my physical appearance. 4. I need to master a skill 5. I need to be helpful. People are suffering. I should be of help to them

Thank you for this! I have lost so much self-confidence since the start of the pandemic and this video is very helpful. Gotta stand in front of the mirror each night before bed and tell the person I am looking at, how beautiful, blessed and loved she is.

Asking other people for something. That's one of my biggest blocks. I realise I never ask anyone for help or advice! I'm happy to read self help books but rarely, if ever, do I ask out loud for something I want/need. So this is definitely one area I am going to be putting into action. Thanks Jack!

The shift needs to happen at an identity level, everything else will just be temporary fixes to the symptoms, not the root cause. The subconscious needs to be rewired into that new confident identity. Firstly, recognize your current model of reality; aka. how you feel about yourself and the world around you. Write down those areas. Now, start consciously thinking new, empowering thoughts and feeling new, empowering feelings related to those "problematic" areas of lack. Flip the script. As you start (consistently) doing this these new neural pathways in your brain will be carved, and the more you "drive" down these roads with empowered thinking/feeling/visualizing the more this new way of being will be ingrained and learned - just like driving a car. With time, that will be your default mode - automatic, easy. This is because the old (learned) behavior - lack of confidence, self-esteem, etc. will dissipate as you stop feeding the old patterns, and give all your energy towards the new. It's important to realize it's merely a program running your life, and that a new, more empowering can be installed. Let me know if you have questions. Wish you all the best 🌱
