Ya know they have the pinchers on the grabbing end, and a handle in hand, and ya just squeeze the grip and will grab just about anything !! We have the 2 footer, and the 4 footers ones , and they work really good for grabbing limbs and stuff. what I use before I mow and stuff, I walk around the yard and get everything picked up with those, ya may try getting some of those to clean off the trash racks !! I love them !! And saves your back from bending over, and slipping into your ponds !! lololol... Sorry Man, I had too !! lololol... Oh Man, good stuff !! Great video Man !! @prestonvaughn20782 ай бұрын
Seems like you should be able to do some sort of setup where there is a U connection like in a septic tank outlet to drainfield where the "overflow" inlet is about a foot underneath all the crap floating at top of water. Don't know the mechanics of the water flow, just that the system works for septic systems, why not ponds? 👍👎

We mentioned a short 4' long, 4 tine garden rake with a stand up spike, and tied to the trash rack by a short length of nylon rope. A permanent affixed fixture to the trash rack, so it's always there and you don't have to go swimming. It's good to see a man dunk on himself.

here in the western part of NC, a temp electical service is used on constructions jobs. A Pole, Disconnect/Breaker Box and inspeciton prior to hookup is about all that is required. Then a permanent service for the home when inspecitons are completed.

Pretty cool test of the solar generator. Can you add your solar panels that are permanently mounted there by the trailer to the Jackery system setup for some extra juice if needed? Thinking about building a small "solar farm" to assist in powering your castle? Totally different subject, do you or your girls still collect and eat the chicken eggs? How about duck eggs? I miss those older videos where you went around and collected eggs and explained why you opened the collection boxes the way you did (snakes).

We still eat the chicken eggs. I can’t find the duck eggs anymore since they stopped living in the house. It’s just been kind of wide-open crazy.

Geoff, not sure if you tested the charging time from 0% to full on just grid power. Maybe in a future follow up vid you can let us know how it fairs with different loads and charging data. Thanks for great content. You are providing me much exposure to new construction techniques to be able to converse with my son who is new to the general contractor arena. Can't wait for more smart space tech you plan to use on the mansion.

Strange coincidence! I was flipping through the circular from Costco today and saw an ad for this portable generator with two solar panels. I thought “Jackery? Never heard of them” but I’m not really shopping for generators so what do I know. Then later, up pops an alert about your video. They show up twice in one day from seemingly reputable sources… well except for slip into pond!😅

I liked the concept of bringing battery packs to the job site that were powered up on the grid (ideally overnight during low rate) and having the ability to either work off of solar or battery pack storage. I didn’t notice any noise on that generator either….gotta be a plus.

Time stamp 9:20, Id build a open top concrete culvert for the pond overflow. That little 8" pipe is gonna erode your grassy beach land after a few years, and plus a open culvert is a good way to gauge your front pond outflow. Yes I know the costs...but it will pay for itself in the long run.

The algae flowed in from the 1st pond near the street. So much rain. The 1st and second pond aren’t on my property so I can’t do much until it’s in my pond. There are sprays that will kill it or keeping the water moving sometimes helps.
