I told myself I wouldn't buy this as it wasn't the kind of WW2 era I wanted to play but looking at some of these maps, it looks fantastic and I bought 2 copies for me and my brother. BFV is not a WW2 piece, but more a WW2 'inspired' piece. The sooner that people understand this, the sooner we'll all be having fun. The devs didn't deserve the hate they initially got.

This game seems to reward tactical game play compared to the past installments. Almost has a COD 2/COD UO flow. The removal of spot spamming was overdue. Can actually flank people and get the drop on them now.

I was def an abuser of the spot spamming.. it's still rather hard to pull flanks off without suppressors. I've pulled off multiple flanks, get 2 or 3 kills, and get gunned down by the rest of their team.

Revisited this one when the mode was available on 2042 portal. In hindsight BFV had a lot of soul at times, just look at all the details... This match certainly was brilliant to watch. Must have been quite a ride when you played it back in the days. And the soundtrack in the end is just beautiful.

That was the best of Battlefield Jack. Really intense and tactical for BF. I would love to see more hardcore ptfo stuff. You get it once every few days on conquest where everyone is on the same level and the server is just a pleasure to be on. No cheapshot campers, or players camping spawn in tanks, everyone has a bash and in general are of the same skillset making for round after round of great fun.

Those aren’t holographic sights... it’s called « Reflector sight ». It was invented *before* WWII, but was not used on small weapons, more like airplanes or AA. This is historically inaccurate; but this is *not* an anachronism Check it on Wikipedia

Just tried the game with the 10hr trial this game is amazing the gameplay is so much better top to bottom. The guns are great, ttk feels perfect, the way your soldier moves from diving, sliding, prone on your back, running while crouched is awesome, the destruction looks much better, maps are great so far haven't played one I didn't like yet just all around this game is much improved n fun to play great job Dice

I'd assume you're on pc by how you're taking the time to write a paragraphed essay about this and if you are then there are plenty of alternatives that would scratch your itch. Getting mad at a massive franchise for trying to include the most people and most amount of fun content into a game doesnt really make sense. They are trying to appeal to the most people and be fun. This game looks damn fun mostly because I'm not going to it for a history lesson. I and almost everyone else looking to play an ARCADE shooter aren't trying to be educated. We're trying to have fun. Maybe just try to have fun too? Cheers

Fantastic! Remind of a match on a similar map on BF1, one that came with the french DLC.. played on ps4 though... very long, push and fall back match.. just EPIC... Cant wait to play it later tomorrow...
