It really depends on where you land. If you want continuous action, you drop in a populated area. If not, you're still gonna engage in a lot more fights than usual because the map is so small.

New maps don't have to be so small to stay lively. 6x6 or even the current 8x8 can work. But loot has to be distributed more evenly, zones have to move faster but do less damage until late.

main problem with miramar that this map doesnt have is that you need to go through way too many doors to breach. the buildings on the 4x4 map are much more open and easier to breach with someone inside

8x8 is to big in my opinion specially the desert map feels way to big. to many games you just have zero action for long periods of time. i think 4x4 will be perfect

I don't think it's actually the fault of Miramar that nothing happens in the mid game. If the people would spread over the map more, the midgame would be pretty nice with a lot of contact. The problem I see are the players - around 70 people die in the first 5 minutes, majority of them in Pecado or at the hacienda. Same thing with school, early Military and Pochinki on Erangel. it's the players that are playing this game like a deathmatch game instead of a br game that are causing the mid game situation. Same thing now in savage - the loot is actually spread very nice, but 80 people will be dead before the 1st circle even closes...

The problem with midgame is that during the beggining of the game most people land in boot camp or paradise resort. If you choose to land in one of those areas, the beginning of the match should be pretty action packed. But once midgame starts, the majority of the players will be dead. This will lead to a VERY slow midgame. But once the endgame starts, and the circle shrinks, the map design really starts to shine and the match should pick up the pace.

Waldo Van Greunen depends on the damage level, a lvl3 vest that's totally fucked is not better than a full hp lvl2, because it'll just get destroyed quickly and leave you without a vest.

Hey Jack, if you look at the little running guy above your map, you can tell if you're in zone. If he's not solid white (looks like he's grayed out) then you're in zone. That's all there is to it.

The lvl 3 helmet was still better than the level 2. Even when it’s as damaged as it was. And you can zoom out with your scope by scrolling your mouse wheel. Zoomed all the way out, it’s way better than the 4x
