The answer to keeping any hater in place is targeting them and throwing out the Medusa's Head, since it's a projectile , it takes priority for them to block vs paying attention to you , so you could use it to close the gap and control where they are . and if the Medusa's head have a straight shot to hit the target just hit R1/L1 to have it get there faster , which also lock them for you to handle

if you get hit your character flinches and usally misses the attack . thats why you somethimes miss attacks even when u are 100% sure it should be a hit
