fragrance in general is a no go, a little fragrance (synthetic or natural) should be fine for normal skin, but if you have sensitive skin try to go more for products that have no added fragrance.

It’s bad because fragrance allergy is very common and when exposed to much to it or left on you can develop said allergy....it is especially not recommended when it is left on the skin like a cream or a serum, it is a lot more tolerable in a face wash ad it doesn’t stay on the skin.

I love Jackie... I never thought an influencer could have so much influence on me. Truth is, ever since I've been following her AND FOLLOWING HER ADVICE I've seen so much improvement with my skin. I don't necessarily use the exact same brands because I live in Belgium and we don't get the same products on the market, plus my skin is different from hers so it just requires other active ingredients. But overall taking care of your skin is important, and making it a ritual is even better.

This was probably one of the first skincare videos I watched on KZbin, and I thought she killed it. Now that I have educated myself more on products, skin types, etc., glad to look back at it and see that indeed, her skincare routine is great! Good products, everything in the right order. The only thing I’d say is to bring everything down to that neck and to just drop the serums into the hand from the dropper . But yassss girl! As an esthetician it makes me so proud to see an influencer do things in the right order! I also love how she wants to get every trace of makeup off. She also used dermalogica and I’m an esthetician for them! The special cleansing gel is BOMB . Also fun fact, all of Dermalogica’s cleansers are Ph Balanced! 💕 loved this!

Katie Lynn she had switched her oil before moisturizer which isn’t allowing for her moisturizer to work since the oil is too thick to let it penetrate. You’re supposed to do thinnest to thick lol

lily1125 I haven't watched that video, but I know it depends on what type of oil she decided to use first. There's an exception to the "oils last" rule of you're using a dry oil like Rosehip before a cream moisturizer because those oils can absorb fast enough to allow moisturizer to penetrate. But if you guys saw her using Argan or another thick and/or oleic acid-heavy oil then I see how the rule does apply there!

Can we talk about mens skincare. I'm 37, with a beard and has never used any products. Ever. I have oily t zone but never had acne. But i don't want to wake up one day and have craters.

Larry Y one thing you can implement right away is a sunblock, like the CeraVe one you can find in drugstores. If the white cast of it bothers you too much, try the Neutrogena one. This can act as your daily moisturizer too! For your oily t-zone, I suggest finding yourself a simple setting powder...literally powder your nose like the classy ladies back in the day. That’s exactly why they went to the powder room, to touch up oily areas coming through their makeup. The best one I have used is the RCMA no color powder. You can take a makeup powder brush or cosmetic sponge and LIGHTLY powder your nose, forehead, and chin to keep the oil more controlled. Easy skincare routine for anyone: - cleanser (CeraVe hydrating bar) - moisturize (Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel; CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion) - sunblock/sunscreen - exfoliate once or twice a week in place of cleansing (CeraVe SA Renewing Cleanser)

@@zg6879 eh the cerve one isnt great for darker complexions I'm medium skin toned and look like a ghost with that stuff. Typically if it's a drug store sunscreen chemical sunscreens will look better as they dont have that ashy film on darker skin tones. HOWEVER physical sunscreens are supposed to be better for your health skin and even ocean from what I've heard? That said I use the 32 matte physical sunscreen by IMAGE so far it's the ONLY physical sunscreen I've found that doesng leave a film. My favorite chemical sunscreen though is by supergoop the unseen sunscreen has a nice primer consistency great for under makeup or just on it's on for oily skin

My only critique is that Jackie should bring her cleansing and skin care routine down to her neck / décolletage. Daily facial movements and skin touching cause the oils and dirt to travel downwards. Other than the additional serum from her mask, I don’t see her pay attention below her jaw line. I would agree, however, that on the whole she has a sound approach.

I notice that everyone (who I watch) bring it down to their necks but when they do those videos for the bigger channel, they never do. Peptides are humectants too actually so paired with hyaluronic acid you get even more hydration. Peptides have issues with penetration too so I think they need more research still as far as anti aging so I appreciate they they have an additional function. People act like HA is just this single ingredient wonder but it’s just a humectant at the end of the day and other humectants like glycerin can be more reliable depending on where you live and other factors. And agreed, Jackie’s routine pleasantly surprised me!

Thank God I don't have to go through all of this. I rarely break out. I may get a pimple once every couple of months but it usually goes away after a day or two. My skin is pretty dry except when it gets humid but I do find that if I use any oil on my skin my t zone feels super clogged when it gets hot so I just use water and hydrating spray instead of moisturizer. But it works for me. Oh, and I sleep in my makeup but I've gotten much better about it lately bc Aunty Jackie has scolded me.

I love being through like that...I go into "Ommmmmm mode" I agree with you about the eye cream at night. Everyones different though. My favs for cleaning DHC Cleansing oil, Obagi foaming gel & Black Rose Charcoal face polish exfoliant & Skininc vit C & I add Young Living frankincense to that. I also do facial massaging with Iyura Maniah glow elixer with one drop of YL Progessence Pus. Nice & sanitized.☺

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of pimples on my face and I usually never do. I switch out products frequently but lately I haven’t. First I wash my face with Lancôme Crème Mousse Confort Creamy Cleanser for about 45-60 seconds. Then I only pat my face until it’s semi dry and I apply Noxema anti-blemish pads and spray rose water. I let it dry then i apply the Botanics All Bright Radiance Concéntrate Serum. At times I mix grapeseed oil with my Cetaphil moisturizer but usually I just apply my moisturizer. Then I use the Burt Bee’s Brightening Eye treatment. If it’s daytime that’s all I do but if it’s night time I apply some almond oil to problem areas. I’m not sure where the problem is, now I get my pimples on my chin and cheeks and I get these bumps on the side of my face and forehead. I have combination skin but my nose can get very oily. I also don’t know what products I can use that aren’t too expensive because I really don’t have the money to afford it. If anyone can help I’d appreciate it, thanks !
