Sometimes people tend to forget that Valmont used to be very good at fighting. I think he slowly lost his touch after Shendu ruined his criminal career.

Yeah he did. In Season 4 he was just jumping on Hak Foo’s back, and Season 2 he was a nuisance when fighting Jackie. He was beaten in one kick by Jackie in that cat episode but in Season 1 Valmont could actually fight on par with him.

@@JJDDCrazyDrive Honestly way earlier than that. Shendu burned out his money and ultimately lost one of his bases in the first season alone. By the Second season his fiancés were completely depleted, and struggled to even pay the Enforcers after Shendu was ejected from his body.

Seriously Valmont's fighting skills here are impressive against jackie, maybe he should've taken some underground illegal fighting to get his fortune back rather than staying broke throughout the series especially losing everything being in and out of jail not to mention they changed his voice actor in the later seasons and what is up with the close ups of valmont's face here??? Lol

Well there's a Jackie Chan movie called the medallion and Julian Sands (voice of Valmont) plays the bad guy in that movie that's the closest we get for a live action Jackie Chan adventures
