Jackie took the title of The Youngest Vocal Artist to go Platinum from Micheal Jackson, and she is the youngest Top Ten debut artist in the US, and the youngest Top 5 debut vocal artist in the UK. Billboard ranked Jackie as THE TOP Classical Album Artist of 2011 ! The List goes on and on.

I saw Jackie for the first time on America's Got Talent back in 2010 and I, like everyone, was amazed. She was 10 or 11 years old. She went on to win. This song was in the movie 'House of Flying Daggers'. Jackie did a great job, of course. If you haven't seen this movie, it's amazing. One of my favorites.

Doing a quick search, this concert was in April 2011, and she was born in April 2000. So, everyone saying she was 10 or 11 is right. Just depends on what day the concert was.

If you love classical then you have luck out finding the most beautiful voice in Classical Music to come out in twenty years. Jackie has performed with the BEST of the Best over the last 14 years. She has dueted with the two living members of The Three Tenors. As well as Andrea Bocelli, Barabra Streisand, Sumi Jo, Sarah Brightman, Katherine Jenkins, Jose Carreras, ect. David Foster took her under his wing, after discovering her on America's Got Talent, and produced her first two PBS Great Performances Specials. Jackie's first PBS Great Performances Special STILL holds the record as the Largest Fund Raiser for PBS ever.

Have I heard of here before? Yes she is the youngest solo performer to go platinum beating out Michael Jackson. This Concert was produced by 16 time grammy winner David Foster (was on the piano for this performance). Ms Jackie was 4 days after her 11th Birthday for this concert.

Jackie was invited to sing in St Petersburg Russia when she was 12 those videos are still on KZbin. Just type Jackie Evancho St Petersburg or Jackie Evancho Russia on KZbin's search bar. Jackie is still singing. Check her appearance on the Masked Singer as the Kitty. I think she was 18 years old then.

Fortunately those videos from St. Petersburg remain on KZbin. Btw, she was 19 when on Masked Singer season 3 (filmed Jan to March) She said at her unmasking, "I'm almost 20...."

Irina, are you familiar with Origa? She was a Russian singer who had a fantastic voice. Her songs from the anime "Ghost In The Shell" I think would be good ones to get your reaction to. The songs are "Inner Universe" and "Rise". The second one is very upbeat and the first one is more medium-paced and mysterious. The lyrics are mainly in Russian w some English mixed in. BTW, the song by this singer (who I was not familiar with) made me think of her.

Her name is pronounced e-van-ko. She was 11 years old at the time of this performance for her first solo concert for PBS Great Performances. An international star by age 12.

You are mistaken. This concert performance was live for PBS Great Performances, produced by legendary David Foster, Jackie's producer. Jackie's performances have never been processed beyond standard sound production for live orchestra and voice.

The testimony of dozens of sound engineers over the years attests to the clean, clear and crisp nature of her vocals. David Foster, and his 16 Grammies gushed over her one track vocals. On stage or in studio one can hardly tell the difference. Some people are just amazing not everything is some gimmick.
