I got these as a set all 39 episodes for maybe 15.00. A real deal, huh? Pure genius. Imagine people are still watching and paying to see stuff you did over 65 YEARS ago. Amazing. Isn't it amazing this film survived and we can watch it?

My late grandmother, grew up by Gleason, in Brooklyn. She was really young, we're talking six to ten yrs old. She said he was a 'playful' boy, a bit mischievous, but overall, a good lad. He, like my grandma, grew up during the depression, so times were tight. I'm a huge fan of both Gleason and my loving grandmother. Great vid. 😃

Palmyra How did Jackie Gleason keep you alive? I’m curious to know. I know everything and every detail about Jackie Gleason’s life that nobody knows. Jackie Gleason was a very talented man, but behind closed doors, he lies a lot about his early life and tries to make himself like an Oliver Twist story from Brooklyn by keeping out any dysfunctional behavior that had anything to due with the people that were in his life. That how talented he was.
