I love Jackie Hill Perry. If I return to my childhood faith she (and her husband, Preston) will be a big reason for it. I literally cannot stand hearing from arrogant, political “Christian leaders.” I find an honesty, compassion, humility, centerd-ness and truth in her and Preston that is severely lacking in the church today.

I loved this!!! I appreciate the way Jackie speaks about God. My husband is a first cousin of hers and he always speaks about her. He tells me that Jackie was also filled with wisdom, even as a child. God bless you for continuing to put God’s word out there! Thank you Jesus!!!!! 🙌🏽

Thank you, Jackie One sin is not greater than the other in our natural bodies There are spiritual sins that are abominations to God None of us can judge. We are called to judge ourselves , never stop Jackie . You are a light called to the church and the world for such a time as this ,,, 🙏

I so relate with what Jackie says drew her to God. It was the hunger for the living waters that I had once tasted that turned my heart back to Home in God when my sin lost all it's savor. The goodness of God is better then any sin. Jackie is very wise. Thank you so much for this interview.

I really liked this conversation, but the title is a bit misleading, only cause a lot of different questions were asked and only a small part referred to the title. Just a thought. I do love JHP. I just ordered Jude, Upon Waking and Ephesians. Where she talked about coming from a place of humility was great. I would like to hear more talk on how to speak truth to believers when their lifestyle isn't reflecting Christ. That's what's becoming harder these days.

Yes, we have to be prayerful. Speaking before seeking God's wisdom is a mistake. God will lead you in everything, even the difficult conversation at the right time. He has done it so many times with me. The Holy Spirit speaks, and the conversation goes in such a different direction than what I would have expected. Instead of argument, there is conviction and agreement. Also, a lot of times, God speaks and convicts me as well in the conversation. God is so good!!!

Theres is a difference between being "called to lead" and being bossy and self centered, narcissistic, and not being good at getting along well with others so you have to be the boss of everyone and everything. Biblically leadership is really reflective of those times when women were at home, marginalized and not allowed or able to actually go and hear the word and learn for themselves so it was men's responsibility to take it home and convey it to women and children. It's not about leading in all things, no one knows all things and everyone has a limited scope of expertise they need to be leading people in.... The latter "bossy" is what most men are. Individuals are called to lead when they are worthy. If all men are/were called to "lead" they would all be worthy and we all know that's not the case. This is mostly about the male ego and God complex and the constant fluffing it requires...

I don't know why Christians call her ex-lesbian, the church, "we" should know better, Jackie Hill the lesbian died, the moment she accepted the knowledge of God regarding who Christ made her she became a new person, this new person is not ex anything. The Church language is different from the world language, we should speak in this wise that Jackie Hill Perry is not a former lesbian!
