I first saw this show in 1988 and couldn't stop laughing. Now it's 2022 and to me it's the funniest show I've ever seen. The man was absolutely brilliant. His jokes and his comedic timing will never be matched. Thank you so much for sharing this. It's timeless.

@@tommyharris5817 - I'm sorry you don't think he's as funny as you hoped. One of the great things about comedy is that it can affect you at different times and in different ways. Sometimes things are funny when you're younger, others you have to age into. And they may not be laugh out loud funny, but rather just something you understand and find amusement in because you experienced something similar. Hopefully his humor works that way for you later.

I'm Polish and loved it. Totally worth whatever the price. This should be the regular today but NOOOOOO everyone is afraid to even get close, scared shitless of being cancelled. If only every comedian, or at least one would watch this GOAT and learn something, then kick off with a show with perfection like this. I definitely needed to laughs. Thanks GOAT for ALL the hours of laughter. RIP.

I'm not jewish, and from a small prairie town. I remember as a child seeing Jackie Mason on tv and loving his demeanor, style, humour, etc. He was probably my first introduction to someone who is jewish, so I got off to a great start, ha ha. I always remembered him, too. We only had 3 channels on tv back then, but whenever he was on I would get really excited.

I saw this show on Broadway, NYC.. Laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. From the time he walked on to the stage, until after he walked off that stage ... and on the trip home ... couldn't stop laughing. A Comic Genius.

An extremely funny man. Been laughing at his jokes for decades, since I saw him in this show with my parents. I was crying with laughter. A couple of years later saw him in a subsequent show on Broadway. We were outside the theater before the show and up walks Jackie Mason, who smiled and said, “Good evening.”

I was fortunate to see him twice in London in the early 90's - and met with him at the stage door afterwards. In today's strait-jacketed world I recognize I'll not see anything this funny live on a stage again. Shame. RIP Jackie - and thanks for the autograph.

I am a full English Gentile but I love this man and his wit. What a joy it is to watch this wonder at work. I am a total atheist and Anglo but if I had to pick a country and religion to be born into I would choose Israeli and the Jewish faith and be very proud to do so. Except Buddy had an "adult" mouth sometimes. He used to be an upholsterer with his Dad in Brooklyn. You go into his shop and all he did was tell jokes.

I've seen Jackie Mason on Broadway about 3 times and in other cities. Never an empty seat or a dry eye due to laughter.
Thank goodness for times before pernicious PC. For now we can at least enjoy this brilliant gem from the '80's......................

I saw Jackie on the Ed Sullivan show when Ed became offended; it really was funny, and I've been a Jackie Mason fan ever since then. He got better and better with the years. Great stuff, by a man who is missed. Jackie was one of a kind!

may he RIP. A truly funny man! He starred in the Mel Brooks comedy History of the World - Part One. He had a great scene, during the Inquisition song that Mel sang. He had a quite stereotypical Jewish-sounding voice. He will be missed! 🙏😥💔
