im one of those ppl who use to believe that since i was oily af, i didn’t need moisturizer. Once i learned a little i bought that ponds moisturizer not knowing it was for dry skin and i stg i almost went back to not moisturizing on day 1.😂 it felt like thick lotion and i was sweating all day. thank you for teaching and showing moisturizers for oily skin!

I just want to say this and I hope Jackie sees this but as a young black girl who wears makeup to hide acne scars, Jackie is such an inspiration to me. I constantly look around and see that in the makeup community there’s no one that looks like me with darker skin and it makes me so happy that I found her a few months ago. She’s taught me so much abt makeup whereas I used to have to SEARCH AND SEACH AND SEARCH just to find a black creator doing a certain makeup look I was looking for and then have to narrow it down to those who have darker skin.
