I love love love your trees!! Its that time of year again- and its time to get cozy with the watercolor. Ive tried to "rough up" my brush a little bit; this seems to allow you to wisp the branches in a way that isnt so linear. Hmmm...I suppose the best way to rough up your bristles is to continue painting. Ha! Im sure you have mentioned this somewhere- but do you recommend a specific brush/and or method to wear out my brush? Thank you for sharing your art and special craft. I enjoy it so much!
@JackiePeacock2 ай бұрын
Haha yeah I just continue to paint. But I also tend to use a lot of dry brush techniques, so this can rough them up as well. Thank you, Emily!

Enjoyed the tutorial and the paint splattering. What is your background? When did you start painting etc? I am just a curious that is all. Yes, I use masking tape all the time.
@JackiePeacock Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching. Totally understand the question. I'd want to know more about whoever I'm watching on YouTUbe, too. If enough people ask, maybe I'll do a video on my art background. But to quickly answer your question, I've been in the "Arts" for years, but for music, not painting. I starting painting about 6 years ago when I couldn't find the time to shoot landscape photography on a normal basis. It was the next best thing, and then I felt called to do it.
