Have you been trying to buy one of my knives and get no joy? There have been so many people who are in the same boat who have waited, patiently and quietly and if I favour you over anyone else well, it just wouldn't be fair on them or you or me. Due to the knives being hand built by just me they will always only be available in small numbers. The fairest way I can see to sell them is to randomly offer them for sale on my website. They go up at Random times though I do try to forewarn with some rough time frame as to when they will be available. It's the best I can do. I can't think of any fairer way to do this. Sandy

Patience is the virtue sandy , or get them to drag their arse to the UK knife show and let them see a different outcome 👍🐽🥃👌 yours truly the 🧙♂️

3 years and counting. My 1st comment was a moment of weakness, it is frustrating though. I have no time to site around waiting for the website to randomly produce a knife for sale. These wonderful works are basically unattainable for the majority of people. I could be waiting another 10 years to get that lucky break. I will keep trying but I suspect there is a guy refreshing the website page witha bot poised to buy as soon as one goes up for sale. Is it the fairest way? I'm not sure.

Hey sandy I've followed you ever since I discovered you on U tube by chance I must admit ,, and it's the best stumble I've ever come across , it took me 7 month to track you down to communication value and it was the most frustrating 7 month of my life , but now I class you as a true friend and customer , either way , I will always back you 100 % whatever your decision is to make or your views , as I think your a well seasoned man of knowledge , and I believe your justifications are justified AMEN my friend 🐽

Oh yeah I'm one of those big knife lovers sorry but just can't help it at 76 now I'm to old to change but I do have plenty of smaller knives. Carry one big and one small and a pocket knife as you said a hatchet and a small saw always. The only thing that has change over the years is the saw of my saw its a silky all the way for me had to train the old brain to pull but it's was worth it .Happy Trails

Good to see you back on the tools Sandy. I have larger hands and find the standard Classic is fine for me. However if my hands were just a little bigger the chest lever grip would become an issue, so I can see the need for the modified handle. Be patient with the recovery from surgery, it all takes time. Cheers, Mark.

Happy to say my Jacklore fits my hand marvelously 🙋♂️ Those new knives are all beautiful, obviously you didn't lose your edge while on the forced leave 😊 The nerves take a long time to heal, I used to have a numb spot on one side of my knee for years after having it operated 😒 And as for the infection...it makes me rather sad to hear that 😔

Well, I wasn't going to be the first one to say it out loud 😅 I was a bit worried when I saw you finishing the hunter-gatherer handle with the hand unprotected. But all's well that ends well and I'm happy for you now the ordeal is nearly over and the healing is coming along nicely 😊 And my, hopefully, last bit of nagging is: don't neglect the excercises before the therapist tells you to stop, even as the finger is getting better 👍😉 Howgh 😃

I've got spinal damage that meant I could put my hand in boiling water without feeling it. Through strengthening my neck, I've got feeling back (not all good, I keep burning myself). It never hindered me too much when working with my hands, I could still sense with muscles, and sight. It can recover but will take time. Your finger will probably need to be looked after a bit more than normal but keep using it. As for the delay in knife making, take your time to get fully better. Fortunately I don't have the money to buy one of your knives, even though I think they are very good value for the work out into them. Maybe one day. A 'LH' named knife might be thought of a Left Hand knife. Thanks for your videos.

Dang, Sandy! I can't believe I've been following you for nine years. I started watching with that knife you made in the handmade forge with the wok and vacuum cleaner, before you even had Jacklore. I'm thrilled to see how you've made a go of this, and made a success of something you weren't too sure you wanted to do for a living, as I recall.
