From experience you're always better off with a genuine guibo and centre bearing mate, I fitted cheap ones and they failed within weeks

My cheap centre bearing failed and ripped the captive bolt out the transmission tunnel 😂😂

The props are balanced so you should've marked it when splitting in the middle so it went back together the right way

Hi jack IV watched all the beemer videos 👍 you done a great job 👍 IV got same E46 convertible 04 it's mint the only thing you need to do now like iv done is spray the front grille mat black under the number plate trust me it makes all the difference 👍

next step rear subframe reinforcement then subframe and diff bushings whilst the subframe is out. Get ready to burn those bushings out btw, there's no way you're getting the diff bushings out in a press.

Sub frame bushing, diff bushing, center prop shaft bearing, cracking in the rear subframe mounts are the main issue with the E46 along with the electrical gremlins they have as well.

Should have a blow torch makes removing seized bolts out so much easier, just heat them up

Bad mistake, you didn't mark the prop shaft when disassembling it. The prop shaft is balanced and needs to be assembled back like it was assembled by factory defaults

Them euro parts dnt last long I had to buy them twice then I got fed up and went to the dealers and got them but it depends on how long it has been doing that you might need to change the propshaft aswell

You didn't realign the prop shaft. 7:09 See the white marks.....

We actually did, I put the yellow marks on the prop with my paint marker. I had a segment explaining about the propshaft being balanced but I didn’t include it in the video 👊🏼

Fake youtube mechanics are always so entertaining XD its ok to make vids about you modifying your car but dont advise people on shit you have no clue about. guibo inserts being threaded, bragging about a 17$ garbage "center bearing" as you call it, not including the most obvious part about splitting balanced 2 piece driveshafts, telling people to just unbolt a spring and shock lower control arm setup without supporting the control arm. Ignorantly showing how to work on a vehicle is outright dangerous and will lead people to hurting themselves. Btw you didnt even talk about the actual serious issues this chassis has, check your ccv system, check your frame where the rear subframe bolts to, check your engine mounts, check your cooling system and oil system, check your valve cover gasket, check your blower motor electrical circuit.
