More great stuff. I really get a lot of insights when Guthrie and Jack play and then discuss the subtlety of their approaches and the philosophy behind it. These guys would be great as a teaching and recording duo. Thank you so much! 🙏❤

Thanks to both of you guys for such amazing content! It is really a rare thing for someone at that level of proficiency to have humility and understanding to break down these concepts in a such a simple to understand way. Keep up the good work!

Great pair of videos guys. Great to hear how you approach harmonization. I’m mostly barely following this 😀 but I get the overall approach. Looks much more practical and to the point. Time for me to try and dig into the details a bit.

My ear is accepting a minor ii-V-i, possibly because it's one of the most common progressions ever heard? Sounds great to my ear.

So glad you two are hanging together, Jack! In late 2021 I caught GT at three different venues in a 7 day span.. once on a Sunday nite, the next night at The Underdog, and a couple of days later Guthrie was sitting in with Shawn Camp. It was a Blast! After leaving town, you began playing gigs at The Underdog. Next time, buddy! Love Your Stuff, Guys!!!

What can I say, Jack... Only to add to my previous comment that in the VERY nearest future comma in 46,8 K figure will suddenly disappear and there will be another one - 468 K. At least I'm sure of this.

Great tune! Especially Wayne Shorter's version of it!! I'm not sure they were actually going there, but more or less touching on the basic structure. Either way, these guys are such a blessing to share their wisdom as they do - doesn't really matter what song it is! 👍

@@Sammywhat that is a pretty cool tune, I guess there's this whole Brazilian movie too it's featured in. Yeah I think they were more demonstrating a minor 251 and how the raised 7th fits in. Cheers bro
