Gen X here. Young people, listen with hope to this man. Don't believe the hype that every one of my generation easily got our houses. I worked 15-hour days, 5 days a week for over a year to get on the property ladder, most of my peers have similar stories. I couldn't do that now! What I'm saying is although you haven't got it easy, with a clear goal, use your strength and stamina to graft like a nutter for 2 or 3 years UP FRONT, and you ABSOLUTELY CAN do this. I adore and passionately believe in Gen Z for many reasons but want them to unplug from all the hopeless noise being shoved down their throat and get serious about carving out the life of their dreams.

Appreciate that comment a lot. So many people sell financial freedom as something that can be achieved quickly without hard work. There are exceptions but just like you say, work HARD for 3-5 years and it’s more than achievable
