Eric Killian I don’t agree with this idea that WSJ somehow blackmailed Disney, one of, if not the most powerful entertainment companies on the planet, and other companies to sever ties with him, rather they probably saw what Felix said and, as a private company, decided that was not the kind of behavior they want to endorse. Much like what Levi’s did in response to his rape jokes a few years ago. Actually, the WSJ just enacted their right to Freedom of Speech by reporting on what he said. We’re probably not going to agree on this issue, but what Pewds said was, if not bigoted towards Jews, in very poor taste. I’m not a big fan of the normalization of antisemitism, especially when you acknowledge the fact that a huge chunk of his audience is comprised by children and teens. He starts the video by saying that he is only making the video because he feels he has a unique perspective to add, and boy was his perspective unique, as in it was completely moronic and uninformed. He believed that the wsj simply made an article condeming felixes jokes, which is not what they did. they never even say the word joke once in their article. Reason number 2 is that Jack chose to call out pewdiepie with his misinformed information before even fucking talking to his so called friend about it. Jack later fucking realised both of these things and made a public apology on twitter, and then took the video down. He addmitted he was wrong for being misinformed and not the best friend. Now i dont think sean is a bad guy. he is quite a good guy he just made an error in judgement we all do. but I find it funny that you and the other people who liked this comment ignorantly support a statement by jack that jack himself no longer agrees with, because it unintentionally condoned the wsj slandering pewdiepie and getting pewdiepie to lose his show etc because of their slander. Anna- banna, I mean no disrespect when I say this but I see people saying this alot and it pisses me off because its a really uninformed thing to say To say you are behind jack's statement, a statement that claims that felix deserved his losses bc there are consequences for ur actions is downright fucking ridiculous, not because people shouldnt get consequences for there actions - they should, but that WAS NOT why felix lost his show or was cancelled from disney, The WSJ article lied and slandered pewdiepie, portraying his jokes as genuine anti semetic statements, claiming he was trying to promote real anti semiticsm. This is a LIE. The Wallstreet Journal then took this too KZbin and Disney without talking to Felix first, and blackmailed them into dropping felix or else be put in the article as funding and promoting a man who is a genuine anti semite (which is a lie but that is what they said). Felix lost everything because the wall street journal lied and slandered him, so no, he did not deserve fucking ANYTHING. If the wall street Journal had made an article saying - pewdiepie made some anti semetic jokes and we think that is wrong, and then because of that disney and youtube cut alot of ties with him, then that would be fine, but like i have said, that is NOT what happened. This is reason number 1 why people were angry at jack. He starts the video by saying that he is only making the video because he feels he has a unique perspective to add, and boy was his perspective unique, as in it was completely moronic and uninformed. He believed that the wsj simply made an article condeming felixes jokes, which is not what they did. they never even say the word joke once in their article. Reason number 2 is that Jack chose to call out pewdiepie with his misinformed information before even fucking talking to his so called friend about it. Jack later fucking realised both of these things and made a public apology on twitter, and then took the video down. He addmitted he was wrong for being misinformed and not the best friend. Now i dont think sean is a bad guy. he is quite a good guy he just made an error in judgement we all do. but I find it funny that you and the 130 people who liked this comment ignorantly support a statement by jack that jack himself no longer agrees with, because it unintentionally condoned the wsj slandering pewdiepie and getting pewdiepie to lose his show etc because of their slander. So yeah, thats why they backlashed sean for this statement. i dont hate jack, and this is old news, but i like many others were angry at jack for this statement when he made it.

I just now have seen this video and I gotta say... mad respects to Jack. It's probably the best video surrounding this controversy and I hope I had seen it sooner. Jack seems intelligent and he did seem more aware than Felix of the far-right situation in the west. I think Felix actually said in a video "I thought these guys didn't exist anymore" or something in that line. I wish Jack helped out in issues such as these since him and Felix have a pretty considerable overlap in audience (myself included) and Felix doesn't seem interested, is unaware and sometimes is stupidly arrogant about these topics. Like one of my friends has a different shade of green depending on their emotions. I feel like when someone deletes their video from their channel they're doing it for a reason, and whatever that reason is others should at least respect their decision to have that video deleted instead of reuploading it.
