Considering how nice and pleasant Sean is, I'm sure he doesn't know. But Isaac's new face is because they remodeled him to look more like Gunner Wright, his voice actor. They also recorded multiple versions of all his lines to reflect Isaac's health and stamina. Okay, that's enough random knowledge, back to enjoying Sean's return and this wonderful game

I love the improvements to the dialogue, it feels far more like an experienced crew that have been in some rough spots before. Obviously this is a *completely* different level than any of them have probably dealt with, they have moments where tension is in their voices, and some understandable panic. But nothing severe and they quickly calm down. Feels far more like a functional emergency crew than in the original. I dig it.

I just love how "connected" Sean is for the games he's playing. @soullessginger9912 respectfully disagree. I don’t know much about Assassin’s Creed so I can’t talk about that, but changing Vageta would be an entirely different situation. His design is well established and highly stylised, so it wouldn’t need to be changed for technical reasons. At most there’d be tiny adjustments to make his animations more fluid, and that wouldn’t change his overall look. Dead Space is different for a couple reasons. First is that it’s going for a realistic look, so modelling characters after real actors and models is just more practical. Instead of building a character from scratch, it avoids most of the uncanny valley effect, can keep up with next Gen graphics and tech, and shortens the already long and gruelling development process at least a bit. The other reason that’s not applicable to Dead Space is because Isaac and Nicole have looked like their actors since the second game. They haven’t actually changed their designs at all, it just looks different cause they’re able to portray their features in game more accurately. The only things about Isaac thats new is his hair and eye colour, and looking a little younger and fresh faced since the Marker hasn’t taken a toll on him yet. Even in the first game where Isaac was voiceless and Nicole was played by a different person, all the major characters looked like their voice actors, so this isn’t something new to the series. Different isn’t always good or always bad, it just varies from case to case.

I honestly hadn't watched a video in ages, but then the new God of War came out and I didn't have time to play it. I fondly remembered watching Sean's playthrough's growing up, so I watched his playthrough of GoW and remembered why I loved watching him. And now I had the same thing with dead space (not enough time to play it) and lo and behold he has a playthrough just in time. I've always used the Pulse Rifle more for shooting the yellow sacs of those large enemies, as it makes destroying them easier. The Plasma Cutter is best for general enemy dismemberment, and the Ripper Blade for crowds of enemies attempting to swarm you.

So for anyone's who's interested, the character model in the older dead space games was initially different and then gradually modeled to look more like Gunner Wright ( the VA of Isaac Clark). In the remake however, they decided to make Isaac look a lot more like him.
