Great stuff Jack. Love the descending arpeggios idea. Stealing it for sure! Keep it up man - you rock.

Dude! Most awesome lesson you put together. So complete, concise, yet easy to understand, great stuff! It's almost like it's not a JackSnax but rather a JackFullMeal, well done! Like a dragon with matches loose on the town, the spirit of Jerry is alive and well in your playing and in your sound.

Dude this is awesome. I have always played the chords and sung fire on the mountain, and I’ve recently got more into learning lead and scales, and this is a great help I love it I’m gonna check out your other stuff!

Perfect lesson. Show the lines you gotta know, discuss ideas to extend the jam. Love when you get carried away and just start ripping the fret board. Wish I could auto tab this video.

Wow!! The star wars lick transition.. the only reason I have got better is from your channel. I really can’t thank you enough I’m playing 8 hours a day on the weekend!

What envelope filter are you using?
@jacksnax4guitar4603 жыл бұрын
Hi!! Thanks for checking out the vid and thanks for the question😊 It’s just built into the Kemper amp profiler I’m using.it’s pretty good, but not quite right.I spent forever trying to get it 100% but I never quite got it to my liking. It sure is a hard effect to get right. So it’s just part of the Kemper, but needs a lot of work.
@sprinkles-hour97192 жыл бұрын
Can you please provide the settings of your Envelope and Overdrive? Can't seem to get that tone, especially overdriven. I also have a strat with 50s pickups
@jacksnax4guitar4602 жыл бұрын
This filter is in the Kemper...so its not really something I can share. that said...I'm not even that crazy about it.

I have a Qtron Plus. I have it in low pass, then I have the Gain and peek at 12oClock. After that I run a blues breaker style overdrive, so it doesnt change the EQ of my tone

Thanks a bunch! Nope, I’m a NYC guy. But I just wrapped up a zoom lesson if you’re OK with remote stuff. It’s not perfect but that coupled with personalized private videos I send my students helps keep things moving forward. Either way...thanks for the kind words.

It’s a Vintage reissue ‘57 Strat from ‘86...pretty basic, but it’s been refretted and had the pickups swapped for dimarzio noisless. Thanks for the ? Cheers!
