@@armaniscott49 If he's familiar with Jackson Browne I'd be shocked if he wasn't familiar with Elvis's music lol. I'm sure he knows the Beatles music as well. I could see if this was a video about Drake asking that but Jackson Browne is pretty old. FYI I don't listen to Drake, I just happen to know he's popular amongst kids these days.

My husband(then boyfriend) and I have been dedicated Jackson Browne fans since he played the Mississippi River Festival @ Southern Illinois University in 1972 for the band Yes and again in 1973 for the band America. Finally in 1977, he was there as a top musician himself! We have seen him each time he came to St. Louis and watched him continue to grow even better with every concert and through all of his stances on human dignity and causes that are close to his heart. You can feel his passionate convictions in his music still after all these years. ❤

I have been listening to him for a month or so. I took notice after reading online that he penned - and played 'these days' - a song that I thought was/is a 'Velvet Underground and Nico' track. His music has been an amazing discovery for me, even though I have burst out crying at times... life in Scotland... listening to Deacon Blues 'Raintown' album on repeat for nearly 40 years..which I don't suppose is too wrong 😮 😅 God bless ❤ 😊

I remember hearing this song for the first time just before walking across the football field to school in the early seventies. It had a profound impact on my emotions and I realized I had heard a great song from a great songwriter. Excellent performance Jackson and band! The guitar solos nod to Jesse Ed Davis and yet also are strong in their own originality. I miss Lee Sklar’s eighth note triplet bass intro.

Mr. Browne, you may be reading this we've all been disciples for many years! We listened carefully to every note and syllable that you had to spoon-feed us and keep us and the planet mother Earth living for a little bit longer! No nukes to information wars I dissected in consumed every drop of nectar I could consume! Because only by consuming that nectar did I come to fully realize my personal spiritual needs but also the Earth and humanity! Thank you Jackson for carrying a torch so valiantly amidst all the destruction! Mr. Jackson Browne you gave everything and continue to do so and have been the pied Piper for global reawakening! I hope future generations will reflect upon all the artists and musicians that led the charge. Thanks again Jackson

This was the 1st song played by the band at my cousin’s wedding about 5 years ago. They played a rocking version. It got me to break my rule about never being the 1st couple on the dance floor. My wife and I danced away “as if no one else was there”! It was glorious! After it was over, we went over to the band and told them that was our 1st “fast” dance to Doctor My Eyes, and we’ve been fans since the early ‘70’s!

Remember hearing this on AM radio in 1972, been a fan ever since. Doesn't make a lot of sense, he of Los Angles, me of rural Ky. But put simply, some people are able to convey a humanity that is universal. At least that's what I get from his music. Lo these many years I have often wondered why he is not more recognized. I've come to believe it's because he speaks of our frailties, and not many people want to admit them, or reflect on their actions in that way, and truly, it is sometimes painful. When I look back now, I realize the only part of my life that is absent regret, is time spent in the service of others. It's never a bad idea. So finally, I want to thank Mr. Browne for helping me flush out what was important to me, that in the end, all we can be sure we have, is each other.

My guy. That one Chief played the guitar solo member. Native people have soul too. In trying to be in balance with this crazy world. JB keeps me kinda good. Since I was small, I heard him. Now I understand. I love this guy. Later

💯percent righteous to this day. Grew up in the 70’s and 80’s listening to you by way of my Mom’s admiration for your music and expanded social consciousness. We got to see you play live at Sokol Blosser in the late 90’s. I would later be mentored for a short time by a photographer in the 2010’s who did some work with you in the 80’s or 90’s-felt rad to have that Kevin Bacon/ 6 degrees of separation whittled down a bit. Shout out to you, man!

Jackson Browne hears every note every harmonic every frequency every all most mistake. I witnessed this at a sound check In Chattanooga. I was George Jones guitar tech if there is such a thing that was my job to change his stings and hand him his Martin. On one end of the venue was the George Jones show and in another section was Jackson Browne. I did not even know he was there but was a fan of him. I was putting a B sting on Georges Martin and some guy behind me says is that all you got to do? And I said uh yea I reckon. And he said follow me so I did and we came out in the nice part of the venue with carpet and curtains. A real theatre. And there in the wings was two racks of what look to be about 40 guitars. He said he changed all those strings at every show. At that moment Jackson was there with some of his band some back up singers and I don't remember what all instruments if any but Jackson was at the piano and they were working on harmonies. Jackson was hearing something off in the sound and no one else could hear it but him. The frustration on the sound mans face was evident that he could not hear it either but they kept on working on it for a while. I had found a seat in the shadow's and was in awe of it all. At that time Georges bass player Ron Gaddis and one of the possomettes had wandered in and to seats right up front of the stage they did not even know I was there no one did except Jacksons guitar tech who had let me in. When Jackson was satisfied the sound problem was solved he jumped right off the stage and shook their hands and was very polite to them even though they had snuck in uninvited. They told him they were with George Jones and he said he loved the song I Remember The Year That Clayton Delany Died. They all smiled because that is a Tom T Hall song but no one mentioned that. It was a eye and ear opener for me because the sound of Jacksons show and the sound of Georges show was night and day. Now to me the Jones boys sounded like a garage band. Then I realized George had never even been to a sound check in all those years. I had told Jim Owen who was Georges sound man about what I had heard and seen and he said Jacksons sound man was a award winning sound man. Who ever was Jackson guitar tech at that time I thank you for the kindness. My entire time in the business I never met any one that was kind to me except George Jones who was a dear friend.
