To me Jackson is the best, not that i don't like other music, i love music but Jackson has always been my favorite. His songwriting is poetry, his vocals are pure. perfect, his musical ability on guitar and piano are exceptional. I first heard him when i was about 17, i am now 67 and it hasn't changed. His music touches me like no other. I saw him in 1978, it was so much like this footage. Thank God it still exists. From a lifetime fan.

Those two complimented each other's styles i think. They just fit musically so well. David was so gifted, he could play anything with strings. If the HOF means anything these days he should have been inducted years ago. Having said that, to me Jackson has always been my favorite songwriter/musician/vocalist and overall humanitarian. That's not taking anything away from how wonderful David was, i'm guessing he was also a lot of fun just to hang out with. He sure was someone very special.
