You should go sometime. Right there in that region you have a top shelf ski resort town in Jackson (it's also wonderful in summer), Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. We worked the nightshift at the hospital, staff employees parked in the back next to a helo- pad and the back fence of the Refuge. In the mornings at just braking dawn you could hear the bull elk bugling and the calves & cows squeaking and yes it was a magical, I’d breathe in that fresh cold air every morning knowing this wouldn’t last forever for me. A lot of young outdoorsy folks use to move there for activities but now spend most of their time working for rent. Soon we may have to create nice towns like this that have limits on rich people. 😀 Jacking up COL is sad for people that just want to enjoy the outdoors.
