My understanding is James is hurt and that’s why the change. Taking a shot of hopium- I hope this makes the improvement needed for JPJ to stop with the penalties and get him on track. Stats say this change would make line worse this week. If JPJ was out performing James in practice, he would have simply earned the spot without the injury.

Extend everyone on defense. I know with that many players in a contract year it's difficult, but they're all good players. Koonce and Spillane are the big two we have to keep. I think Deablo has played better than expectation since coming back. He looks fired up (maybe because it's a contract year?). Butler has been doing great too holding down the interior without Wilkins. Butler and Meohrig maybe, but I'd love to see us bring back the entire defense.

Please stop with the trading up for a QB. Every single time a team trades into the top 5 for a QB it ends in a disaster. They give up future first round picks and are unable to surround the QB with talent. The only team that it didn't end in a disaster was the 49ers, they lucked out and found a solid QB in the 7th round. But the picks they trade lead to the worst team in the league making the playoffs with the acquired picks. The 49ers would have had multiple Super Bowl if they didn't make that trade to the Dolphins. The Panthers trade up actually also led to the Bears actually surrounding a QB with some talent as well and drafting a better QB the next year.

Gerting a 3rd for davante is huge. Look back at the last 2 or 3 drafts and the amount of great talent that has been drafted in the 3rd. Id be interested in trading kolton for a 2nd or 3rd but only because hes been hurt a lot latley. Hes a lot of miles on him and hes been hurt alot. Its better to trade one year early than one year to late. Hes allowed like 10Sacks this year. If we dont get value, then if course im not trading him. But im 100% looking to trade players like jakobi, butler, jenkins and if the price is right, kolton.

I want the number one overall pick. I want to have high draft picks in every round and not to have to trade up or worry, I want to get the best QB in the draft. Our offense is bad enough and coaching is backward enough to do it without giving up pieces. I am done fighting for third place year after year. The number one overall pick can attract free agents and elite coaching staff. Winning meaningless games that worsen our draft stock is the worst thing we can do. I do not want to depend on other teams seleecting ahead of us to trade, that is what we thought this year and we ended up with no QB. Miller is like Carr, but better. Carr was never top 5, Miller was and can be top 10 again. Carr wasn’t the best guy to have- but as the Carr haters are now learning, it can get worse without him. Top 16 means there is 16 worse starters and hundreds worse in the league behind him. Getting rid of Carr would only have helped IF the replacement was better. Until we get a better LT who can take the place of Miller, it is stupidity to get rid of him. You wanna roll the dice again on a first round pick? ALEX LEATHERWOOD- remember him? I’m trying to not go too far back here, but the mistake has been made many times in Raider history and obviously other teams too. The only way not having Carr is better than the AOC/Minshew carousel is we are saving some money. But we are 100% out of playoff chances. DC4 has the come back ability and the long ball to get a chance at a wild card that Minshew and AOC just can’t supply at this point in their careers. Now take away another 10% of the needed protection of whoever is QB & RB by replacing Miller with a # 48 ranked LT and what is that gonna do?
