Just not a lot of time for zero quarter these days, you got national anthem, pregame announcements and festivities, advertising, DJs gotta DJ, etc. so the bands just get a few songs in wherever it fit. The only way we get longer zeros is for the bands to arrive earlier.

Bama State respects their football program and abides by a different set of rules at home. There are haters on *both sides,* btw. And you’re right the haters don’t stop anything. The bands are there to have fun and I think ASU and their fans do that every single home game win, lose, or draw. I honestly think some visitors fan’s can’t take ASU’s crowd but it’s all in fun.

Alcorn does it the most, Jackson is a close second to Alcorn who literally waits for the other band to start playing before they play. MVSU actually has the better showmanship out of the three Mississippi universities, shockingly.
