He said he wants to show a lot about his culture. So I think they’ve decided to use a chinese concept to this MV. It’s a chinese love story. And I think Jackson was a warrior who died in a war. His loyal soldiers summoned him from the dead and they try to find her lady, when they found her, they perform the summoning technic. She rose from the dead and as they dance (i interpreted) they know how tragic their love story was and decided to be together so he used the technic again. They gown down together to the grave and be together forever in the afterlife.

Exactly same. It’s a Chinese traditional love story. Soldier died in battleground and his wife died in their hometown after knew his death. Soldier remember his wife’s oath “生同衾 死同穴” means live to sleep together and died to buried together. So he came back to find his wife.

Theme LOVE his generals loved him and summoned him to be with his love. They sacrificed themselves because he died before being with his love. Now he is with his love for eternity

It’s crazy because the “spell” he casts in this video to reunite with his lover after “war” is a sacrificial mechanism. One has to die (or die again) to bring another one to “life.” His well-trusted soldiers sacrificed their last essence to bring Jackson back and Jackson cast a spell to bring his lover back. They even help him find her and put armor on him so he could protect his lover in the afterlife too. Such truly loyal soldier friends he has lol This storyline is so brief but beautiful 😅❤
