At first idk why I just didn’t like got7 😭 I didn’t like them for NO REASON 😭 but then I saw this and I was like hmm let me give them a change maybe they aren’t that bad and so I heard this song and man I was kinda forcing myself to not like it but I liked it…..and I don’t regret it cs I got into got7 afterwards. The story in the Jackson's "100 Ways" MV is a sort of ancient Chinese Romeo and Juliet story. In the MV Jackson is an ancient Chinese soldier who has come back to life after being killed to find his lover and resurrect her so they can spend eternity buried together. So the backup dancers are his troops who are there to serve him and to pledge their loyalty to Jackson their leader, etc. That is why it looks like he is controlling and commanding them. The Kata hand movements are the spell they are using to bring everyone back to life. "100 Ways" is actually sort of connected to the story in "Jackson's MV for "Pretty Please ft. Galantis." You should watch "Pretty Please" next, and at the end of that MV (make sure to watch all the way to the end of the credits) you will get to hear him explain the concept behind the 2 MVs and what the stories are about. Then after that, check out "LMLY (Leave Me Love You)", which Jackson says is a continuation of the theme within "Pretty Please." Jackson has 100% control over all aspects of his solo work because he owns it all himself. It's all part of his company. However, "100 Ways" actually was choreographed and the MV was produced under the direction of the Kinjaz, which are an Asian-American crew made up of former members of the Jabbawockeez. The Kinjaz have worked a lot with Jackson and several of his projects are in collaboration with them. Thanks for a great reaction! As you may have already read he went to an American international school leading to his fluency. His and his company team Wang's goal is to expose eastern culture to west and vice versa via music and art. The background of this song is soldier and his lover separated at death rejoin in afterlife after getting resurrected. It's Chinese style yes choreographed by Kinjaz!

Jackson is born and raised in Hong Kong. He was studied ‘American International school’ since he was young in Hong Kong. That’s why he’s fluent in English and has American accent as well (can be say English is one of his first language) Then he went to Korea to be a trainee and be one of the member of the group ‘GOT7’. He is fluent in both English, Cantonese, Korean and Mandarin. He could speak a bit French as well.

He's born and raised in Hong Kong, where English is more used(business world) and he got a good education, parents elite athletes, I doubt he didn't git English lessons, in school or after school. And yes he speaks without accent, or more like American accent :) even the way he walks, carrie himself and vocabulary in American interviews sound like a rich American trying to talk gangsta. actually the music video is a mixture all japanese, chinese n prob korean style... what the hands movement was, in japan they call it the summoning jutsu, most anime fans of Naruto would know that. As for the costume it's actually been modernize, as for the leading lady role it's definitely a korean style kinda dress. as for jackson it's just a modernize version costume of the traditional dress.

Catchy, that's the word, you said it. I find this song in my head veeery very often !
