What I was getting at is that you don't trash your host's office, that's not only ingratitude, that is simply rude, and completely disrespectful to come into somebody's home office and trash the place! In his shoes, I'd likely have dueled the leaders of that party at the Presidential office for trashing my workplace, no matter how rough-and-tumble I may be; that's not how good manners works: nobody comes into your home office and trashes the place in a "celebration" without having to answer for it. How I'd explain it to him is that a man's home is to be his stronghold, nobody gets to come into your home and turn it into a dump, especially your workplace, without having to explain and apologize for that kind of blatant direct disrespect for the trashing of the homeowner's office- no matter what they may think of him- and Jackson was a military officer; he'd know the need for a functional workplace at his HQ.

The Whig party preceeded the Democrat party in history; it went away, around about the time of Dred Scott and the question of Abolition regarding slavery... but it was the very same party that developed around the time of the English Civil War as the Party of their Legislative Body, later on being the party of the American Revolutionaries in our War for Independence, and remained right up almost to the time of the American Civil War.

At the celebration of his election: talk about ingratitude! He opens up his office for a party, and they wreck his office!

For instance as far as how he'd find his party completely unrecognizable: he was the only Democrat President, and one of the very few Presidents of these United States, to keep Congress on a balanced budget- whereas his party is completely wedded to socialism, and tax-and-spend policies throughout my entire lifetime, something completely contrary to his economic standards in a lot of ways.

Democrat Bill Clinton balanced the budget.

And, while their party *claims* to be the party of the common man, it is really the party of the *establishment*, something completely diametrically opposed to the common man; things he'd be totally against in almost all ways. Lets not forget that he'd stand completely against his own party's agenda regarding Catholics historically: he hated Catholics, but his party for decades was the only major party that would publicly welcome Catholics into its membership. What I am saying is these things've shifted so drastically that he, if he arrived in the USA of today, wouldn't be able to recognize his own party, at all, really.

It could be labeled "the 1828 AD rematch" as a completely silly historical concept.

Bottom line, a corrupt government, with corrupt politicians that hide behind religion, called Christianity. You are so right, not much has changed.

For instance, his appeal to the American people to hire him was rooted in patriotism and nationalistic zeal in a lot of ways, especially regarding the Western Frontier; nowadays the Democrat Party's platform is rooted in the *destruction* of the American nation, in *internationalist nonsense*, (especially as he'd see it), in racism that runs completely counter to his racial views- was he rooted in racial judgements? Of course, sadly so were a lot of other people; but today it still happens- different direction, but the same plague.
