I have been listening to Dean from his beginning. He always captivated. His 'mediocrity' is brilliance, a gift, well thought out, unique, while complimenting and honoring, a true voice of comfort and penetrating insight. As an artist he always came across as someone you could trust, never a slave to grand delusions, authentic, never needing the easy path of weirdness--the abstract and the overwhelming desire to be overly complex never burdened his humility. His biography is a pleasant read.
