The boats are very impressive...they can put out a lot more than that too...we were trying to put out the fire without sinking it...that did not work out.

To bad that the owners lost their boats, but glad that there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident. I responded to a similar incident, ( the town I was a volunteer in, sits along the Hudson River. Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.

I think you are correct...some additional lighting could have helped...only thing that would worry me there is additional trip hazards around the water.

What can you do. You have to keep water on the fire, and boats don't tend to like being filled up with water. Glad no members tripped and fell in.

Turn those dam pass alerts off .Not necessary for those to be on ?? There not going inside the boat

They are inline on the airpack...you CANNOT just turn them off.
