People tend to forget that he was playing at an MVP level right before his injury. He hasn't been the same since and it's not just physical. You can still see the flashes of greatness, but he also makes a lot of boneheaded decisions. Hope he figures it out.

Fun fact: This was Washington's first game on 9/11 since 2011, where they handed the Giants their only loss on September 11 since the attacks. Yes, Jim Irsay traded Wentz because Wentz refused to get a bioweapon injected into his arm. Just wait and see that I'm right about that. An owner and GM will absolutely NEVER throw their starting QB under the bus the way they did after a 27 TD and 7 INT season unless there are underlying reasons for the trade and not performance reasons. But I'm glad Wentz has a better WR group around him this year. Last year he handed the ball off more than any other QB in the league which means that he could have realistically had like 32+ TDs last year

The first Int from wentz was a late pass which is on him but the 2nd one is just great awareness by walker to sniff it out so I wouldn’t hold that too much on wentz. Overall great closing performance from wentz and Dotson 2nd TD was beautiful. He used his body to shield the defender and made a great catch Washington needs to open the playbook more and let Scary Terry get to work cause 4 targets for the best WR on the team is way too low. He should be getting a minimum of 8 per game

We were lucky they didn't complete a few passes in the first half. However, those strikes in the end do show some absolutely crazy potential for Wentz if he can iron out the boneheaded stuff. I think this might be the most optimism I’ve had in my Jaguars in at least 4 years. The offense has actual potency and the d line looks aggressive. Forrest became the key🔑 leader on defense for Commanders. I know this game was great by Washington all around but if it wasn't for Forrest covering Zay Jones on that play towards end zone and Jonathan Allen getting sack on Trevor Lawerence this matchup wouldn't of been easy. Jaguars look very good with Ettiene running and catching the football. If Travis gets a play he sees this dude can turn things up quickly. Before Jahan Doston got drafted I was praying he'd be selected by Tennessee Titans. But since he is a Commander, Washington seems to have found their 3rd receiver. Terry McLuarin, Curtis Samuel these boys can play. Even when Antonio Gibson caught it from Wentz you could definitely notice the chemistry. Shout out to Trayvon Walker too. Jacksonville Jaguars have Marvin Jones and Kirk so they will be a good mix of receivers in due time. I'm not worried Jags, good work. Are their plays that should of lead to touchdowns yes but I still feel as though Jaguars have improved. Seeing Lawerence establish a good rhythm at times was nice to see because he found so many guys on his team through course of game.🍿👍
