I love the moment Vegeta heads off to fight Majin Buu in the anime so much. "I can sense it. Kakarot's son is gone... Gohan, I'm sorry." This would be the second time he's apologized to Gohan for letting him get in harms way. The first would be when Gohan sacrificed his arm to tank the shot from Perfect Cell.

A few references: - The world tournament was happening at the same time, Goten and Trunks arrived after winning the children's category and almost won to adults but they were spotted wearing a costume to participate. - Majin Buu one hit Gohan. Actually, Supreme Kai was able to resist more than him. - Trunks broke Piccolo's statue by mistake, but he was able to regenerate fortunately 😅

Piccolo learned from cell that if his head is intact he can regenerate still, despite his whole ass body being gone. Dunno if he actually learned it from cell but considering Cell came back from a small clump in his head, I'd assume piccolo can too.

Babidi goes crazy thinking Buu's been killed, but Buu just looks at it, grabs it, and pulls it sideways out of his body to everyone's absolute incredulity. Buu's body might as well be made out of bubblegum, it is that damn hard to hurt him.

Fun fact jack, in the show trunks and goten actually knock over piccolo's statue and it breaks into pieces. So when dabura died, piccolo returned to normal in pieces and had to regrow his entire body cus by sheer luck his head remained in tact. The look on trunk's face when he realised it was actually piccolo and went to check what the smashed pieces turned into... XD

Dabura's power level is supposed to be the same as perfect cell when he fought Gohan. Right before Gohan achieved super saiyan 2 and cell regenerated from blowing himself up.

Fun fact Dabura is only as strong as Cell, So yeah, Gohan did lose power in those years, But at least Gohan was doing what he actually liked to do, Because he isn't really a Fighter deep down like his Dad Piccolo, I mean Goku

I'm pretty sure Vegeta meant Super Perfect Cell when he talked about Dabura, who Gohan was pretty much on par with, if not weaker. As for "losing power", that's not really true. Irl people don't really lose muscles or strength, their body just kinda forgets how to use it. I figured Gohan was just rusty and lost experience with fighting over time. Edit: Also, Trunks says Dabura is way stronger than Cell when he fights him in the future timeline.

Fun fact: after Dabura died he was sent to heaven as punishment (because he’s a demon king and would’ve enjoyed hell). In the anime, it rehabilitated him and he became a nice person because of it.
