I couldn’t make the show, I was down in Texas. My wife and I bought a new car last year. They really wanted us to buy something on the lot. The cars on the lot are optioned to the max, and they were charging that “market adjustment.” If we ordered the car, we got it for MSRP. They said we could order it, but we’d have to wait for it to be built. We ordered the car, and picked every detail on it from color, interior, options, etc. my wife chose Rose Gold as the color. It’s a nice looking car. We ordered it in July and it was delivered Christmas Eve, but it was 2023, and it was about 10k less than anything in stock. I would choose #5.

For some reason many think if it's made of cast iron they need to make it look like an Old Black Wood Burning Stove, I like what you did but I may have gone with a Dark Blue or Burgundy for the main color instead of the Mint Green, I really like Deep Rich Colors............We had a Kiln for Pottery in our Elementary School.........Schools have lost their way, we used to do so many neat things at school back then.

When i was a kid my mom color coded me and my brothers stuff so that she could identify who was leaving stuff around. I was yellow, nick was blue and clay was red. Consequently, i am partial to #7. I would not be able to pass up on all those great old garden tractors. Id love to see an episode on your cub cadet. Great stuff! Cheers

4. Oh man, since I retired from the department, our boot polisher was worn out! I wonder how many times we all used it! I spit shined my boots to a mirror taught by a Marine! That tap set is awesome! Because of you I have one similar AND a Frank Mossberg socket set! I love those old drills. I’d get them both running if I could. Almost gave the city a brown out firing it up! We just don’t have those tool shows over here on the west coast. Great show!

Great old electric drills. No matter how bad the cord is they usually always work. Bought and sold a lot of old drills over the years, owned a little Cummins. Good for very light duty .. almost like a toy ..no 5 planter color

The kiln looks identical to one we used at work 30 years ago for "icebox rivets". You cooked them at 930 for 20 minutes, then quenched them in water. You had to keep them in a freezer or they return to their hardened state.

Great finds there, Scout. Especially anxious to see your restoration of the red electric drill. That kiln caught my attention as it would have been nice for final tempering of small knife blades. Put me down for #5 on the flower urn. Would make an especially nice table centerpiece filled with holiday greenery or glass tree balls at Christmas.

We gave a similar show this weekend in TN. Thresherman's show. Steam engines, antique tractors, mule pulls, blacksmith, old saw mill run from a steam powered tractor, and handmade crafts.

I like # 1, and I also love the egg beater drill can't wait to see that restored, and if it needs a home, I have a place for it. I like to personalize things with paint or stain. If it makes you happy or someone else, then I say do it.

Great video 👍 Fantastic video from Jacktown , looks like everyone had a great time there. That Witte Diesel Engine generator was purring like a kitten, awesome looking little unit. That red Cub Cadet tractor looked fantastic 👍. Those Craftsman quick wrenches 🔧 in the original package looked fantastic. You got some great stuff from the show. Never seen a Dremel shoe 👞 polisher, pretty cool 👍. Those 1/4 “ Cummins drills were a great buy , they remind me of a space ray gun 😄. The cords look 👀 like they were in excellent condition 😂didn’t see why you would have had to bite down on leather 😂😂😂👍. Again that was a great buy. That Little Giant tap set in the original box is a cool find& fantastic deal for them and they look awesome. That little hand drill you got is a nice find,I can see some ScoutCrafter red 🔴being Applied to it in one of your upcoming videos👍. For the color 🎨 scheme of the antique planter, I like the original colors you chose but I’m going to have to go with #3. It was kinda hard to choose because all the color schemes were beautiful. The planter you restored looked great on the porch with those three gnomes I think 🤔 you also done a while back ago. They also turned out fantastic 👍. It is amazing to me John. I restore Matchbox cars from the original series. I hear all of the time how I am killing the collectibility and value of those 50 to 60 year old toys. They were on their way to the trash or at second hand stores so I view it as saving them for the future. My grandson will love them when they get handed down to him.

I’d go for 8 but at the end of the day I always feel that if you’re doing it for yourself or a friend then whatever colour you feel is right is right. Your colour choice fits really well with your girlfriends gnomes.

I wish we had flea markets like that in New Hampshire. Unfortunately the one's we do have keep getting rained out. Love the tap & die set. My grandfather was a machinist. I got to the use taps on some of his projects when I was a kid.

Great video Scout, I really like Tool Scouter’s channel, he’s so relaxed. You got some great bargains and I think my favourite was the little drills, those polish up so nicely. You know the tape on the cord is just to stop people stealing them.😂 My selection for the pot wasn’t there, I’d prefer clear lacquered natural cast iron. Cheers mate, Stuart 🇦🇺
