At least it's just the E-Brake. I told my father about this yesterday because I wondered if he'd ever had such problems on his much, much cheaper cars, and upon hearing it was a Murcielago, he just said: "That car must've stood around quite a lot considering what rich folk do with their fancy toys. And that's also the reason for this problem. Cars this expensive aren't built to last, as stupid as it is, so standing around alone can cause all of the small parts to corrode and/or get stuck."

A manual car can sit in 1st gear without any issue you don't really need a handbrake, however. If you park on a hill etc dont need to be steep at all but its always advised that you use a handbrake incase the gear breaks or disengages. Its atleast what i was taught when driving
