The Factory Five GTM believe it or not...despite being Mid Engine actually uses a Front Engine C5 Corvette as it's donor. I should know since my like 10th video ever made on my channel talked about it lol! I still remember researching that video.

Shame on me for even doubting...I just looked up on the official Factory Five Website and low and behold: www.factoryfive.com/gtm-supercar/what-you-get/ And yep, it's a 1997-2004 Corvette C5 Donor Car. It does also use a Porsche Transaxle and some builders have tried to build it without a C5 (It's possible, but a lot harder). So for all intensive purposes, it is indeed highly recommended to use a C5 Donor for the F5 GTM.
