Taking me back to when we knew we weren't perfect but had hope, joy, humor, a sense that we really were within the grasp of true greatness.... we need not, and should not go back, but there are many, many things we could and should remember and pull forward into today... if we want our vision of tomorrow to be possible... doing this is a must.... Jack is just singing the songs of hope for tomorrow... this is not 'gifted', it is 'of things'...

You are my very favorite artist EVER💋 You shook hands w me after an awesome performance at The Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum. I tried to tell you my mother refused to take the stage after your father performed w MC5 in Detroit 1965 & you quickly retracted your hand. This tune is so New Orleans. Takes me all the way back to the very 1st of several times we met, at House of Blues in the Crescent City. Congrats on the new Third Man Studio in Great Britain. I was present when you cut the red tape on the inner city baseball field for the kids in Dallas & I tried to gift you my SlowPa’s 1954 Gibson Country Western. My papaw was the only owner of the beautiful honey Axe. I sure wanted you to have it & to hang in your Sport Bar. I think this last meet there was a bit of an misunderstanding. I did not mean to cause confusion. I will dropped it off to your museum/studio near Gallatin & walk away. Therefore making you owner. Then you can decide what to do with it!
