My hunch is that this version was recorded for Lazaretto judging by the vibe and personnel on the track, then perhaps it was reimagined for the album that the electric version will be on and it fit a bit better

Fantastic. I like this version best! You can hear his voice better and I LOVE the guitar part. My favorite is the part that starts around 3:37.
