When I lived in China, a guy in the city who grew up on a rural mountain just like I did in America fell deeply in love with me, and almost like a magic spell, I eventually felt the same way about him and still do . Most Chinese love songs perfectly describe how it felt and feels that we can never actually be together. Thank you so much for all of your efforts to share the beauty of Chinese culture with the rest of the world in this way. I feel so lucky/blessed to have the privilege to be able to experience the music and to let it help me process the joys and sorrows those years brought into my life, and to help me savor the relationship for all of the years yet to come.

Thank you so much. Living in the USA and being disconnected from Cantonese language, this helps me better understand the songs my parents showed me.

As a Cantonese born and raised in America, I can relate my brother. Never been to Hong Kong and China before, but I am trying to learn more vocabulary.

I was thinking that this was another simplified chinese lyric video cause I saw this line: " 共你醉過痛過的最后", but no, it seems like it's only the word that was wrong lol. Was wondering why it was weird cause "last" in traditional is 最後, but it was randomly written as 最后. Now I know like... one simplified word.

Hey just a friendly suggestion, would you mind doing this song, 上海灘 - 周潤發? I don’t know there who the original singer but there is a few videos out there with this song. It is a classic. Thank you!
@lookatthesigns6 жыл бұрын
theworldgonewhite - if it's Shanghai Bund you're talking about then there are two videos on my channel of the song. One is Francis Yip's version and the other is Andy Lau's.
