Hi Jaclyn! I love your vlogs, I hope you enjoyed your trip! The things in the bathrooms are called "bidets" and they are used in many Mediterranean countries to literally wash yourself after using the bathroom.

1:45 wow hahaha I'm Italian and it's so weird for me this question. We use it to wash our bottoms after pooping haha. Italians miss bidet a lot when they go abroad and they wonder how the rest of the world can survive without it. It's also useful for women during their period

I haven’t been to Italy but I’ve been to other countries like Spain, France & Greece. As long as your going to a big city or a touristy place then the waiters speak English & the menu will have English below each dish

I know from visiting other European countries that if ur visiting big cities or touristy places then everyone speaks English & theres English on the menu. Although I would recommend learning some useful phrases such as please, thank you, hello, goodbye etc as it’s nice to be able to say that in the native language ❤
