Instead of 'words' for each new year, i have quotes sooo my quote for 2019 was 'Everything is Figure-out-able' ... That one came in handy MANY times. My quote for 2020 is 'Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it" .. That could be for both negative and positive situations that make come up this year :)

Your ACL story is honestly the same as mine! Happened junior year, during a soccer game, right knee, couldn't drive, also helped me come to the conclusion of not playing in college, but agree the surgery was the hardest part!!

I think we all need a friend like Alexa and Regan. They remind me of my friends from Camp especially Holly. I was having a freak out,this past Weekend about "not being good enough" as a singer for Mass Choir since certain people in my Life compare me to a certain person. When I'm in my own head Holly (aka Holls) helped me to not freak out and worked with me on the Music and she also had some time on Saturday Afternoon and so did I. We took some time and just read the Bible together and,she helped me to identify certain passages which helped me to realize I AM enough.

when I was 14 I tore my minimus and chipped a bone in my thigh. this was also due to soccer + lax + ice hockey. I needed surgery and it happened to be the day after my 15th birthday. I know how you feel!
