Ok, this is great. Now, the next logical step is for you to go to a Jacob Collier concert with your flügelhorn and do this in situ

Something about a flugel solo over those choir chords just hits the spot. Love this!

This sounds great! I've seen the Collier video before and thought it sounded pretty cool. I think you should try a cover of Laplaces Angel by Will Wood! I've always wanted to do a cover of it but can't find any good sheet music for it.

I just start playing my trumpet a few weeks ago after not playing since high school (15 years). It's crazy how much music I can find online to play vs around 2009. Sometimes I sound good enough to where you can tell what song it is, but I have a lot of work to do. I've been playing on a mute and noticed its harder to play with a mute. Playing low notes is really hard on a mute sometimes which seems really weird. Anyway I found your channel and appreciate your videos they are very inspiring.

I’ll listen out for you on Jesse 5 👍👍👍 great sound.. and improv on those chords … I was talking to Sir John Tavener a number of years ago about “ playing in the spirit “ as it were…… the whole breath of god divine playing ecstatic thang ….you certainly nailed it with this ….

Bravo! I'm new to your channel but I love everything you're about. Two songs I think you should consider covering are, "Me, Myself and I", by G Easy and Lump your Head" by Hollywood Undead.

How do you switch from high to low without having to readjust your lips?
@dawgstudioswoohoo5 ай бұрын
he does adjust, it's just very subtle because he uses an efficient embouchure for capturing the full, warm sound in all registers. he's also practiced 2 decades so that helps
