As a follower of this channel since march, I am so excited that the Ducks were able to draft him at 27, amazing value at that pick. Especially love that you compared his spinning passes to Zegras, as they may be playing on the same line soon enough, slinging blind passes back and forth to each other. Also wanted to say that I appreciate the music background part of the vid since I'll probably watch this another 50 times before he dresses for a game haha.

100% a mistake to have let this man wait until pick 27th. Serious upside.
@danielmontreal0074 жыл бұрын
Thank you for letting us discover the depth of his talent. I haven't had a chance to see him. Definitely his strides are a little longer and more powerful than his father, but his posture looks like him. 👉 As with Samuel Poulin last year, I think your assessment of Perreault's ranking for the draft will be good.

Well you just opened my eyes on this player. I see some shades of Galchenyuk there (with a way better motor/skating). Don't you? Overall, really nice toolbox. Bon travail encore une fois. On en veut ++++ haha.

@deutschlanddangler29834 жыл бұрын
I honestly see alex galchenyuk in him except with a higher ceiling. The way he can put defenders on their heels on the attack is also very impressive. See a bit of nathan mackinnon as well.
@dariusotero18684 жыл бұрын
As a Ducks fan he reminds me of Rickard Rakell. He kinda drags his shot, is a good playmaker, and he’s a slippery skater. Rakell is a better defensive forward but Perrault has a higher offensive ceiling
@DraftDynasty14 жыл бұрын
Yup I can see that. I like that comp. Someone in the comment also compared him to Boeser and I think it make sense too.

Ducks fan here as well! Eric Stephens picked Perrault in his Ducks mock draft. Like what I see from this kid. We need offensive minded guys who can finish

Gunler, Mysak, Evangelista, Peterka, Grans are underrated prospects in my opinion. Would be nice to have your take on these players. Mainly Gunler (I know it's hard to get quality footage)

Louis Miller I second the ask on Evangelista. Watched some highlights and loved what I saw, but I haven’t watched a full game to get a handle on how good he really is.

Not sure if you know the Oil Knight, but he's been high on Perreault too, and he's usually pretty plugged in to the OHL. This gives me a much better idea why. I personally like when you talk through the highlights, but if you don't have enough to say to cover all the clips, then listening to some music while I watch the clips is good too. I just hope it doesn't replace your analysis. I vote for Gunler

I really hope San Jose picks him up either with TB's pick or by trading up. Everyone has their idea of who he reminds them of, but I think the closest comparison in Logan Couture! I want nothing more that Cooch v1 and Cooch v2 on my Sharks!

Hopefully you have time to do Schnieder before the draft. Would love to know how far apart him and Sanderson are.

huge gap between the 2. Schneider doesn't have much offensive upside. He's more of a PK guy, Def #4-6. Sanderson is a stud he will be a top 10 pick

Noel Gunler !!
@simoncharette9074 жыл бұрын
Hey, just saw this one, I just discovered an amazing guy. Do we think he would work better in the NHL as a RW than at C, giving his apparent lack of defensive ability? While I was watching, I started agreeing with you that I would try and get a late first round pick in order to select him. Given MTL is starting to have depth at C, would it be counterproductive to draft him in the projection of playing him as a RW with, say, KK or Danault in the next 2-3 years?

I have been waiting for someone to do Yanic son for quite sometime. he is in the range of my team draft pick. it would be nice to have an other french guy, after last year Alex Beaucage, which is a similar kinda of player, tell me if I am right about that. Thanks for your time doing and afford this, We all appreciated Gunter is similar to, great offense pour defense, but he got great tools, will go between 15 and 20
@DraftDynasty14 жыл бұрын
Thank you Daniel, yes Alex Beaucage and Perreault have similar playing style. Perreault is just a bit better at everything. Beaucage got a nasty shot I think it was a very good pick for Colorado at that rank.

hes gonna be the same player than his father Yanic when he played with the leafs and the habs, around 25-30 goals, i think he could score 6 or 8 seasons at least...much better prospect than most big guys with strong hands. His ceiling his higher than Maxim Comptois too for example, top pk unit and high offensive ceiling.
