URD's Glickenhaus SCG007 and Toyota GR010, RSS BMW M Hybrid and now VRC Peugeot 9X8 The Big Three is producing the same class cars but we don't have a proper BoP sadly (I wonder what will be done about that given that LMF is now around)

How does this one compare to the RSS BMW Hypercar? Can they race together without any one of them being much faster/slower?

I'd say it depend on the track. Tried them both at Monza and the peugeot was faster. The BMW is easier to drive tho. The Peugeot being a ground effect car ils easy to bop tho, you just need to raise the height.

RSS cars tend to have less technical detail, but are equal in model/physics quality and IMO have better sound than VRC. Both are amazing to drive, just bought this Pugeot, it's great, but the RSS BMW hybrid will always be my favorite, as it's so much fun to drive

@@JacobCappello i appreciate that, and respect the amount of effort VRC put into each of their projects. however as someone who does not have access to high quality sim equipment or a great understanding of every aspect of a real life racecar i enjoy the simplicity of the default (kunos) cars and other modding teams like RSS. im not suggesting that they remove or stop implementing these in depth systems, that they clearly work hard on and pride themselves on. i am just asking if there is an option for those of us who want to enjoy it but don't have a PhD in advanced quantum physics...

@@sukyamuffinThe most you need to do is just bind an ignition and starter button, and you can have fun driving after that. All the extra features aren’t necessary for you to understand these cars :)

I'm not sure why (unless it's genuinely amazing, and it won’t be) people would even bother with LMU. VRC are giving us the most accurate prototypes in simracing, on par with iRacing. Along with those two + AMS 2 I couldn't have any less interest in LMU. And when VRC drop the red car, you can guarantee it'll sound more accurate than LMU's offering does. For 10 dollars you can drive the most accurate H car in simracing, and buy the game to use it in. Lol.

Such a shame they didn’t release this a few years back. Despite having the opinion VFC are the best studio for LMP cars, can’t really justify the price with Le Mans Ulitimate weeks away 😢. Could of done with this when URD released their Gickenhaus and GR010

Well, URD released their LMHs in August 2021 and February 2022 when it was just 3 LMHs, and we already had the VRC Revenga R13 which is the Rebellion R13 and later grandfathered as the Alpine A480. Peugeot didn't make their first appearance until Monza 2022 so there wasn't much to go on for modeling, sounds, etc. Meanwhile VRC was overhauling their physics with CSP, and now they are releasing the most feature rich cars in all of sim racing. Wait was well worth it.

The revenga is an LMP1 car. I agree VRC are top of the field though. Just think it’s unfortunate timing with LeMans Ultimate around the corner.

@@andrewtaylor6410 Revenga is an LMP1, but Alpine grandfathered it to run it in 2021 and 2022 in Hypercar. Just throw on some BOP. I used CarTuner to create a separate tune of it and went in and edited the aero to force the Le Mans spec front end as well as edited the power and weight myself, but you can just use AC's BOP adjustments.

Yes Im aware of the history. I was referring to the difference in performance between the hyper cars and LMP1 cars. VRCs revenga is based on the original LMP1 Alpine. The performance is worlds apart from the current hyper cars. It’s a different category.
