@@arrojo6876 I use ChatGPT 4o. I have a project folder with setup sessions for various cars. i have quite a history in the one session for the FA24 setups. I just tell it what track, and it pulls all the previous settings and ranges to create a detailed setup. It teaches you along the way. And you can tell it how the car is handling on track and it will give you tweaks to improve performance. It's very cool.

It’s funny to hear you say the rss porsche is the best porsche gt3 after URD calling their porsche the “undisputed king of ac gt3”, imo both of them are solid mods. great video. pretty surprised to not see the urd caddy here and to see the 963 here. IMO, the 963 was one of RSS’s lower end mods. No doubt the car model is great and driving feel is okay, but the way the car’s hybrid system works is not great. My car shouldnt go from a normal gtp to a rocket ship by the click of a button. The car also feels quite dull and lazy to turn in compared to other prototypes from URD/VRC. I hope their future lmdhs are better, as I love their gt3s and formula cars.

RSS are pretty much carried by their built up reputation. Nobody cares that their cars are inaccurate as long as they feel good. GTPs are praised to heavens despite lacking class defining features and GT3s are often praised as "better than ACC" while being just as half assed. IRL GT3s produce around 500 to 550 horsepower and RSS ones are all around 450 and they are also lighter than real counterparts and have pretty sticky tyres, thus pretty easy and pleasant to drive which people often confuse with realistic.

the IER guy, Jackson, not just makes these mods, he codes entirely the physics on the CSP side, add new features, etc. If other mod teams are using CSP "physics" and features it's thanks to him.

I agree with the VRC FA 2024. It took me awhile to get some features to work correctly but it is very good. I also agree with the VRC Formula 4. I also use that one a lot. The RSS Porsche 911 I've only driven 2 or 3 times so far but it does feel very good. My disagreement in this list is the VRC Formula Beta. For me it is one of the worst cars I've ever driven. Two things a race car really needs to do is have the ability to turn, and have the ability to stop, and this car will not do either one of them. In very slow turns the front tires just lock up and go beet red and you have to try and wrangle it around. It's just awful.

The F2 car is definitely tricky, you really just have to slow down and drive it within its limits once you get the hang of it, I’ve enjoyed it a lot

The issue with VRC mods is that they are too fast compared to real-world vehicles. With the default setup, even without adjusting to the circuit, the AI at 100% can be faster than the real-world lap times of the cars on a track. However, it’s likely possible to gain 1 to 2 seconds with a better setup, and a professional driver could probably gain 2 to 3 seconds as well. The RSS cars are 2 to 3 seconds slower, which feels much more realistic to me. I prefer that over having hundreds of setup options.

Exactly thank you, so many people argue that the VRC cars are faster and "that's how an F1 car should be" and like sure that's not exactly wrong modern F1 is a bit slower than before but the real car's aren't that fast so calling the VRC more realistic cause it's faster is just flatout incorrect I also think the complexity of the VRC is just overkill, at the end of the day this is an AC mod and while the engineering and coding behind those features are absolutely commendable I just don't think anyone is really gonna make good use out of those features in any meaningful sense

I would hope AI would be able to achieve near pole times as real life on certain AC tracks. Tracks in AC usually have more track grip and AI have 20% extra lateral grip.

⁠@@FrenchyAUSure, the VRC FA24 can be faster than real life pole times, but lets not ignore all of the following conditions that contribute to that. - Track grip being too high - Track grip being static across the whole width of the track - Hotlapper setups typically don’t account for having to worry about plank wear across a full distance race - Pirelli limits not being considered by most people, such as tyre compound, minimum starting pressures, and end of straight camber limits - Parc ferme not being considered, most hotlap setups wouldn’t work for a full distance race - Teams typically don’t have their power units cranked to their maximum potential in real life - Thermal efficiencies are not implemented for the various components on the car (we are working on adding this) - Wind speed, wind direction, track temp, air temp - Track inaccuracies, from lack of bumps, to incorrect cambers - Very forgiving kerbs, a lot of kerbs in AC are much more forgiving and shorter than they are in real life - No fear of crashing and damaging the car - Countless laps allowed in the sim, allowing for more practice There are several more factors at play, but I believe this should get the point across regarding lap times. As for the complexity of the systems on VRC cars, welp, we simply aim to try and simulate as much as possible. The higher level drivers in leagues utilize these features extensively, so I’m not particularly worried about people not using them.

So now, I actually find the others too slow 😂 URD aligned their Cadillac Hypercar with your three Hypercars in terms of lap performance. The problem is the RSS Porsche 963 and BMW, which are too slow (+3 seconds per lap on the Barcelona track).
