Praying for peace is not universal. When Islam is praying for the genocide of the Jews and Israel. Where have you been.? And remember Japan in WW2 was part of the Nazi effort to destroy the Jewish people. So you can climb down from your high horse now.
wow, this was so epic, the entire stadium was silent during the performance. This is definitely a memorable moment, I'm super glad you got to play such a beautiful piece and incredibly proud of how far you've come.

Your performance and the piano's performance seem to pierce through the heavens.
That was a very beautiful performance, and I thank you for posting it for all to listen to. I've read much history of WWII, particularly the Pacific War. Time and again I am struck by the absolute tragedy and waste of that wretched conflict, and the terrible fate of tens of thousands of young Japanese men doomed to annihilation on countless far-off tropical archipelagos. I believe, whether he intended it or not, Sakamoto's theme for 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' perfectly captured the pity of that desperate war. It's a haunting elegy for all that was lost.
Compelling, Peaceful and Magnificent! To be honest, while I was so excited you showed up on KZbin, I was also extremely nervous until you started playing. OMG! I couldn't believe that 70,000 people were watching only you, Jacob! But the moment I heard the first note, all the tension disappeared. The sound of the irradiated piano was transformed into remarkable beauty, and your fervent desire for peace was deeply infused into the performance. Each note resonated with the depth of your aspirations, giving the performance purpose and depth. If possible, it would be wonderful if all the wars and conflicts in the world could disappear in an instant by playing your piano! May the power of your music inspire others to aim for a world free of conflict and filled with compassion. Also, if I could convey this message to those who create wars for profit or personal gain, I would ask them not to do to others what they wouldn't want done to their loved ones. P.S. I am so delighted a lot of people left comments here!
Well done Jacob! very smooth and gentle performance and a wise choice of Sakamoto Ryuichi san 's masterpiece. Very touching and beautiful. This is EPIC amazing. Looking forward to your another great performance in the coming future.
