The back court around the head shot,Why you turn to your left, counter clockwise first and then turn clockwise the next step? 3:01
@mr.trickshotpro38564 ай бұрын
So that when you turn clockwise you are more explosive and that first turning anti clockwise gives you 1 step less to love from rrightbside or coockwise
@maxgluteus42634 ай бұрын
Yes, I usually turn clockwise, then use side shuffle, it does take more steps, thanks!

I want to ask, why didn't you switch your leg when you did a clear in forehand rear-court
@prabhanjanavramagiri8208Ай бұрын
Because it generates a lot of power. When strength is very high that amount of extra body involvement is not required. Now you ask me why he did it on the back hand side and that is because he has to adjust his moment to return to the centre.

I had been doing wrong footwork all through my life, but I want to change now to proper footwork. Of course I practice these , but when I'm on a game , my bad footwork comes back... what to do ?
@ronitr-yw6eg9 ай бұрын
Buddy, am doing the same mistake all this while as well. The best medicine is to practice footwork repeatedly for about 10times before the game and start with the game and focus more on your foot movement over your placement of shots for a while and then sync your arms and feet together. Good luck buddy

Do you have videos for "Swings"? And Explanation of Badminton's Racket? Some Rackets details, have charts. That is easy to understand. I can read what it is... But I don't understand the different it would apply when playing. For example, it would have this "Elastic" charts.... Like from 1 to 5, 5 being supper bendy.. I could understand the difference between 1 & 5. But I honestly don't understand different between 2&3&4. No one can explain what to expect... so I have no clue what the differences is. As for trying different rackets go, I can adapt to almost any rackets after a few plays. And some Racket have details Letters & Numbers... and I'm totally lost at that. I mean, what is W1 to W5? Some seem to have like 8D? 4D? What are those? For example... Some rackets said to be Hard, some said to be soft. Some are Balanced, some are balance a bit to handle, some to head... I just don't understand the different & impact it would make. Cuz, I'm new to this.. and I joined a team, they all suggest that I I try different rackets before buying one. They have lots of their old ones that I could use... and I use most of them... And I really don't see much the different. Like a normal size racket is 675mm. And some says it's balance point is at 305mm, so that close to the middle, but is it heavy on the head? or the handle? And some are balance at 278mm? What's the different between 3cm of Balance? The only things I know... is 3U and 4U and it has to do with weight. But there some 3U that is 6mm and Some 3U that is 4mm and I seriously can't notice the different because no one tells me what the different are. And when you're running around in court trying to hit the balls, I honestly didn't have the time to "Feel" the difference when switching rackets. Because I am a DIY-carpenter, I love wood working, so I'm used to do heavy works, so I'm good with strength. This allow me to adapt to most of rackets I've been using without much issue. Some people complaint to me that this racket is too light, that is too heavy... I honest don't & can't feel the different. And as far as other skills players in the court, they don't seems to have a clue either, we don't have official Badminton Teams or like School or anything like... We learned from old players... whom, I don't think been properly educated either. And as for the teams that I joined, what I can tell, they chose Badminton by "Getting Used To" to a certain model. They would buy it, play it for a while, if they find it uncomfortable or too heavy, they would just abandon it and buy a new models. And they find a model they like, they stick to that one, regardless if playing Double or Single... So I'm under impression they don't know the details of Rackets either. And it would be impolite for me to ask. All they tell me, is to try different rackets of their old ones until I find the one I like. And anyone could spend 10 mins to explain? Or there is a video would that would explain all of these? Please link me? Also, shoes.... I have this Basketball Shoes. I didn't buy for Basketball. I just love it design. And it's so comfy... And at first, I use it for Badminton. I honestly don't' find any issue with it. I'm fast, flexible with it... I don't trip or whatsoever... But everyone keep tell me that I'm wearing the wrong shoes. So I got a Badminton Shoes, that is over $250. Li Ning. And guess what? It hurt my right 4th toe badly... But I don't have issue with my basketball shoes. But then again, my basketball shoe was $450. And it's very soft. I tried to google differences and learned that BB shoes are rely on cushion support where BT shoes need both cushion support & flexiblity... But guess what? My BB shoes are so soft that you can almost sleep on it. And my BT shoes are very stiff. So I'm confused.
@JacobsBadminton3 жыл бұрын
Austen in regards to shoes, I would recommend badminton shoes instead of basketball shoes as they’ll support your feet in the right way. Might have to try a few brands to get shoes that feel comfortable for you. They might be lighter than your basketball shoes so help you move quicker. In regards to rackets I can’t help you much as I don’t look into it too much as I’m a strong believer that you should use a racket you like the feel of that feels good in your hand and when you play. Some of all the numbers etc is marketing and 99% of people won’t be affected by everything in the racket and would be better off spending money on coaching rather than an expensive racket. Sorry I can’t help you more but remember a good workman never blames his tools.
@austinjt42643 жыл бұрын
@@JacobsBadminton It's true. And I don't blame my tools. I just want to do it right. And everyone keep tell me to get the "Right" racket. And I'm confused because... I get used to almost anything and comfortable with almost every racket. Because if racket is light, I wont' be having an issue with it. If racket is strong, I'm also build for it. So it doesn't cause an issue except Grip Size, the handle. If it's too small, I can't hold it firmly because my hands are big. When it's come to Shoes... I did my own test. My BB shoes are softer & lighter. And my BT shoes are heavier & more harder. The differences during play, it's BT shoes hurt my toes while my BB doesn't. Another thing to notice is when stopping.. BT shoes seem to have a grip, like a sudden break, it's kind of stick the ground (creating a foot noise) where I'm almost tumbling over. BK doesn't have that issue, it allow me to maneuver much faster than BT focus shoes. And another big issue when wearing Basketball Shoes to Badminton Court, was the fact that EVERYONE give the Death Stare.

You can try to bend your knees already then do running or chasse step with longer steps but focus on your left foot to pivot then launch with your right foot for reaching with your racket.
