I noticed there were no springs on the cable at the carb throttle connection. Mine has 2 springs on the cable, one on each side of the throttle lever. Looks like maybe they are not necessary, as yours seems to run fine without them. I'm trying to get my cable adjusted right. Took the carb off, cleaned it, and now it runs much better, but it backfires on deceleration. I didn't take a picture of how it was adjusted, and not finding any videos on throttle cable adjustment.

What type of seat do you have in the bed? I have an ez-go mpt1200 with a dump bed, and I would like to install a seat like yours.

Sounds like carb issue? Have you tried cleaning it?

Not sure the spray on the cable was a good idea, in my experience golf carts are in a ton of dust, the spray causes it to cling.

Probably wasn’t necessary to spray it.
