I grew up next to the fairway on the 16th hole of a municipal golf course. A great part of my youth was joy riding the abandoned golf carts when the batteries got too weak to drive. After they sat for a while, the batteries had enough umph to go for 10 minutes or so. Ahh, you brought back great memories of my youth. Cheers Mr Rooster!

Nice repair there Rusty Rooster. You turned a throw away into a running and useable machine. The gas tank cleaned up nicely as well as the windshield. That battery tray is functional and as somebody said its not the space shuttle! Always glad to see you promote other channels on your board sir. I think it truly helps promote some of the smaller channels. You and Mr. Raley are getting closer to the 1,000 subscribers that will get your channels monetized! 👍📽🎬😎Roger #superclean

That was awesome Rooster! Glad you can start using your impact driver Lol. That chain trick is sure easier than fishing rocks out of a tank, and I'm betting that new battery support won't rust out. Smoking?? That's how ya know you have enough oil in the gas Lmao.
@TheRustyRooster3 жыл бұрын
Thanks T-Bone been doing the chain for years the one I have now is a little lightweight I like the ones you hang a swing with best. Yep, bet my new battery support will rotout long befor it rust. THANKS FOR WATCHING 🐓👍

The ignite module is mounted next to forward reverse controls. I had to replace this one might Check into that.

What is the oil/fuel ratio in the old 2 strokes? Just picked up an old ez go just like that. Looking forward to getting it going for my wife and kid to ride around the neighborhood.
@TheRustyRooster9 ай бұрын
ratio oil/gas on a 89 2 cycle ezgo marathon, Is 128:1. 1 oz. + to 1 gal. it is not recommended to add oil directly to your fuel tank and then pour in the gasoline.
@nickcummings819 ай бұрын
@@TheRustyRooster thank you sir! I had 2 stroke dirt bikes that I pre-mixed when I was a kid but it’s been years.
@TheRustyRooster9 ай бұрын
@nickcummings81 check the old oiler it might still work. If not plug off the oil port at intake and premix your fuel. Thanks hope this helps

@TheRustyRooster Жыл бұрын
Hey, ol-buddy, I'd double-check my fuel:oil ratio. Other than that, it's a 40-year-old engine. Rings and crank seals might be the fix. Thanks for watching.
