My First Day With Grubhub. It Changed My Life

My first day with Grubhub was such a great experience and I am so happy to say that I am now one step closer to the freedom and flexibility I'm attempting to achieve. By signing up for an additional major food delivery app, I am in the process of changing my life. Now that I have the big three food delivery apps, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, I can sense a huge shift in how I approach my work and the business I am creating. I am now closer than I ever have been to stepping out on my own to be the best driver and independent contractor I can be.
I absolutely loved the delivery experience on Grubhub. I felt like I continually received great offers to my phone and it felt familiar, but different than DoorDash or Uber Eats. The food delivery process was almost identical, but the app had a different feel to it that will take a little getting used to. However, I actually enjoyed a lot of the new features I experienced, like tip transparency with the total payout and the original diner ETA. Overall, I could not be more thrilled about this new change in my delivery process and I can't wait for what the future holds.

No the payout have nothing to do with u being new. What GH does is pay u a bonus if the customer doesn’t tip. And as opposed to DD GH does not steal tips.

This is actually a great deal! When I worked Uber eats that was my daily pay for 5-9pm shift

The best way to do GH is to schedule blocks. U get priority. I don’t even do the other apps anymore. Of course every market is different. Don’t take place and pay orders. Waste of time. Make sure u hit the button if the food isn’t ready about 5 mins after pick up time. And u can select Google Maps in the app.

I've been doing grubhub for over a year in the Phoenix area and I make 250-300 a day just from grubhub

Grub hub in my area is good if you get an order and on the way to deliver it you get another order pretty quick,if not they are by far the longest wait time out of the 3. But if you can get your first one and start in a good groove, you can have really really good days!

That's what I've seen too! If you can accept another Grubhub order before finishing the previous order, my earnings tend to be pretty high and wait times are shorter

Watch it w the ue pay. They add on the potential tip send you far and pay you only $2 to $3 because customer don't pay the tip or they steal it. I'm recently quitting. Looking to do package drop offs n sparks? But will see if GH takes me. Should I say I never done deliveries?

Yeah, I've heard of customers taking tips away after the drop off this complete. I don't love this feature, but sometimes the customer may tip more after. I think you could tell them you've done delivery before, but I don't think it'll affect if you're accepted

Grubhub is VERY good the frist few weeks. They do this to keep new drivers motivated. It turns to shit after that :(

That’s sad to hear. I’ll have to keep testing this out to see if my market is any different. Even if Grubhub is not as good as in the video, hopefully it’ll be good enough to continue to use with my other apps

I average about $28/hr during the week but u have to schedule blocks. On the weekends I avg over $32/hr

Yea GH has high end orders mostly resturant UE has alot of fast food a mix of both is good. Did you schedule yourself? Because GH they always start you off in the top tier which is premier

@@PhoenixDeliveries thr only thing GH has an acceptance rate you have to stay 95 or above to remain in Premier, you get first dibs on schedule and access to catering order. I got a $100 tip one time for a catering order it was only 5 miles away haha

@@PhoenixDeliveries super hard because if you are used to UE and DD like i am i like only take order that pay over a certain amount and not too many miles. You pretty much have to accept every thing that is probally the only con vs other apps

Wow, that's not good. I wish I knew more about why that would happen. Unfortunately, I don't know too much about process of how orders are carried out from start to finish. I'd be interested to research more about that
